Disagree. only signing a new contract shows that he loves the club. Rejecting a £85-£95m move and leaving for free (so that he can pocket the fee himself) or for a lower fee to a different club proves the exact opposite. Might as well pull off his shirt and wipe his arse with the Cockerel. Hate him or not for leaving, but he got us a £100m payday. Imagine if he’d rejected City £100m just so he could leave for free the next season? Would have felt sick to my core.

I don’t think he’s sticking around because he wants to be at spurs though. He’s sticking around to wind down his contract and leave for free probably to Man Utd and pocket a vast amount of that transfer fee instead. It is literally the worst thing he could do to his boyhood club. And I’m soooo glad Grealish DIDN’T do the same. Unless by some miracle he signs a new contract of course. Then you’d be right.

In any which way you want. it’s a comparison. it’s like saying a Kawasaki ninja is faster than a McLaren F1 - and some overly sensitive people getting their knickers in a twist about comparing 2 wheels with 4 and how that is - god knows - ‘wheelist’.
