  1. Empire should run away with this.
  2. Collins and Dunne, top draw. Gabby and Warnock, did well. Friedle, Milner, Stan, Sidwell & Cuellar, ok. Young and Big John, below par. Heskey, well Heskey. Reo Coker, didn't really do anything in the short time on the pitch. Happy with the performance. Worked very hard, and came up against a very decent side. Good point.
  3. Not gonna get on a negative tip, but Jasus! 442?! Why? Oh well, bring 'em on I suppose.
  4. Audio on the main site really is a bag of sh*te. Sweet Jebus, Jack Woodward is a tw@. How does he stay in employment as a journalist? I've been listening to the game for about half an hour, and have no idea how we're playing!
  5. Nice one Santa, great read. As a Villa fan exiled in Darlington, I know exaclty what you mean. You possibly already know, but VT's very own GaztonVilla runs the North East supporters club. Good bunch of lads, all passionate about Villa. We often meet up to watch the match and talk all things Astonian.
  6. John Lee Hooker & Canned Heat - Boogie Chillen No.2
  7. Ex season ticket holder, now in the regular attendee camp. Now live reet oop norf, as opposed to Erdington, so having a season ticket is not practical. Still get to every game I possibly can thought, home and away. Did about 19 last season.
  8. What is it with questioning tradition just lately? First off someone asked if we shoud play in claret and blue, now questioning if we should be nicknamed The Villans! What's going on?
  9. Why change the most beautiful colour combination in the world? Claret and blue belong together like salt and pepper, or fish and chips. Aston Villa play in claret and blue, simple as. If a few Cockneys and Australians are too stupid to recognise this, so what. The colours represent Aston to me, as much as the club. From the claret and blue bridge at Witton Station, to the claret and blue gas holders.
  10. Going to see The Fall at the O2 in Leeds in October. Looking forwrd to it, as I've not seen them live in about 8 years. Also going to see Wilco in November at the same venue.
  11. Check the poll options :winkold: Oh yeah!
  12. Great 90s film's not mentioned yet: Schindler's List Silence of the Lambs Being John Malkovich Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
  13. Give Me Just A Little More Time - Chairmen of the Board
  14. Nothing lined up until December! Having said that it's worth the wait. ATP Nightmare Before Christmas Festival, featuring My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, De La Soul, and Sun Ra among others.

One copy of Exterminator by Primal Scream + Hanging out with Noel Gallagher = One of the dullest bands of the past 10 years. Stupid facial hair too.
  16. I used to love a smoke. I've dabbled with a few other recreational drugs. Few pills, bit of sniff, and trips. I used to enjoy mushroom picking season. Not touched anything about 3 years now though (with the exception of the odd toke of a spliff here and there).
  17. Listened to that the other day for the first time in years. Forgot what a fookin choon it is.
  18. Remember seeing them when they first came over to tour their first album. Moody, and dark as ****. One of the best gigs I've been to. Went up their own arses a bit though.
  19. Used to like my Jungle and DnB back in the day. Bit laps of late though. Not really up on who's on the scene at the moment. Still give the likes of LTJ Bukem, Groove Rider, DJ Marky, Nicky Black Market, Shy FX, Fabio etc a blast now and again. Really love UK Hip Hop. Mud Fam, Task Force, BrainTax, Rodney P, Mark B & Blade, Tommy Evans, Phi-Life Cypher, Ricochet Klashnekoff, Roots Manuva, Jehst etc. I'd recomend getting 'DJ Louis Slipperz £10 Bag' to anyone who fancies getting into UK Hip Hop. It's a great starting point. Got some big tunes on it.
  20. Rocket From The Tombs - Ain't It Fun Ignore the dude with the beard in the video. This song **** rocks.
