    Looked like most other players in that team and they all seemed to have no idea what they were supposed to be doing. No patterns of play or anything (which is kinda expected in International football I guess?). That's not me saying I think Ollie was bad, he wasn't. Barely had a sniff.

    I found the video in this tweet quite interesting as a possible scenario for this cycle. Thought i'd share it in the event others may do too. I wasn't expecting (or planning for) a left translated cycle and that would kinda ruin all my plans, so it's good to keep options open i guess,.

    TIL that the kid in Kick Ass was also in Bullet Train. Never made that connection.

    They should just put a point total to deduct per million overspend so everyone knows where they stand. Something like 1 point deducted per £2m overspend. Or whatever numbers make sense. It feels like they're making it up as they go along atm.

    I feel the PL were on the right track with FFP when they gave Everton a 10 points deduction. The punishment needs to have teeth if they want it to be taken seriously. The 4 points for Forest is a bit of a joke.

    4 points is so soft. Hardly a punishment that will deter other teams from doing it.

    That's exactly the point i'm making. I suspect this is the case and it's why he hasn't started a match in ages. Bringing him on for 20mins here and there might be totally viable without the need to sign him permanently. Speculation though.

    Fair enough if you feel that way. I'm not a professional footballer so can't exactly say either way, but I feel like having a decent pre-season with the team is incredibly beneficial to all players. Players who don't get that are always playing catch up a little bit in my mind. I could be wrong though.

    I've assumed that his lack of playing time is down to us not wanting to make the deal permanent. Suspect if he plays x amount of minutes we'd be forced to buy him.

    My thoughts too. This season, I think Digne has been the better of the two.

    Scored a couple of important goals for us now. Still find him very frustrating though.

    Given the players that are unavailable, it was a good result. Though, thought Emery got this one wrong with his starting line up. We look so vulnerable from set pieces, can't wait for Mings to come back.

    Hmmm looked a pen to me, his arm is not in a "natural position". Though, I don't think it should be a pen but have seen them given.
