  1. There was one question about how important a "central view" is to you, or something along those lines. And seemed like a lot more questions about this "concourse seating" than safe standing. I guess the two could be related.
  2. At the top no team currently on course for 60 wins either. That (or equivalent Pct in shortened seasons) hasn't happened since 2000/01 season. And that year had more teams adrift at the bottom. Gotta be one of the tightest seasons ever.
  3. Oh so one of the 4 tanking then lol. Didn’t start well with Bridges either. If anything like we were under Clifford then slow and defensive. Plumlee going an odd one? Seemed to be having ok season. Who’s likely starting centre now?
  4. Could say that for some seasons but not sure this is one of them. Only 4 teams not looking that fussed and looks like everyone else will be 30+ wins, which hasn't happened since 06/07. Playoff/play-in picture still looking incredibly open. Should watch more of the Magic. We are so fun to watch this year. 5th worst record but 17-13 in last 30 and still talking up play-in chances.
  5. If we finish the season equalling the worst 18 game run of Emery's nearly 20 year career, we still get to 47 points.
  6. To add to the misunderstanding of the FFP rules, how they've got to the revenue of £228m looks wrong, because 1) turnover in the last accounts was higher than a normal year due to the delay to the season, and 2) the £36m covid adjustment is not all revenue.
  7. Yep. Think I’ve included everything over £1m I could find.
  8. Yeah this is what I thought and had been working to in my previous estimates.
  9. Don’t think many of the fees are know with certainty. Took most of them from wiki where stated, but there are obvious caveats around whether they are accurate, add ons, etc. Kamara seemed unrealistic to assume no amortisation as iirc signing on fees for players are also amortised and would assume these would normally be higher with a free transfer. I stuck in £1m a year as a complete guess. I put the table together just to try and tie back to the last accounts and then get a rough idea of where we might be now and in future. Will do similar with rest of p&l when have more time.
  10. The point that selling Ings is a positive for FFP is obviously true. But I don't think the numbers in this thread are right. Is there a wage/amortisation to turnover ratio limit in FFP? I thought there'd been changes to the rules recently but not sure on the specifics.
  11. My table has 18/19 and 19/20 in it but hidden above, as couldn't get close to the £71m with anything that made sense, and as its less relevant now given player turnover, and that my 20/21 figures seem to tie (more by luck they exactly match the accounts than the data being accurate imo) How would additional fees to clubs for players based on promotion be treated? Could this explain the big uptick in 2019/20? We still had a number of players bought for reasonable fees on the books at least in part of 19/20 period, eg. Hogan, Kodjia, Chester, McCormack, etc.
  12. My initial thoughts are more postive as the table has amortisation a combined £20m lower across 21/22 and 22/23 than I had previously estimated last summer. And on that estimate we already had plenty of room for FFP in 2023, even with what I think were conservative revenue estimates.
  13. Estimate of amortisation outlook given current and best info I could find.
  14. I thought the opposite with Fulham. IMO it’s going to come down to the results between the teams competing for the euro spots. So Fulham being away for all of them doesn’t help them.
  15. Correct. Looks like if we are still in the mix towards the end of the season, then it could be very much in our own hands with games against the teams we'd be looking to overtake (or perhaps keep behind us if we've already moved up the table by then)
  16. Remaining fixtures for the teams 5th to 11th. Yellow are next 6. Orange are final 6. Rearranged fixtures assumed to fall in middle.
  17. And again. Could be fun if we can sneak 8th seed.
  18. Projecting a 55-56 point season. To give an idea of the kind of results required in final 19 games to get to 55 points: - 8 wins, eg. sou LEI eve CRY BOU NFO FUL BHA - 6 draws, eg. whu NEW bre wol TOT lei - 5 losses eg. mnc ARS che mnu liv
  19. I think some managers have the players all stay together in a hotel night before for home games and travel in together, others don't. Assume Emery is doing the former. MON used to as well. Saw a few times him taking the whole squad for a walk down the Hagley Road the morning of games.
