so if he doesnt sign then the people who think the board were tight are wrong but if he does sign then the people who think the board are tight are wrong?
hmm
you could flip that and have it if he doesnt sign they were right and if he does sign it means they were right and they had to pay the extra money
Why if he signs does anyone have to be right or wrong? If he signs who gives a ****, the main point is he's signed and we should all be pleased about a quality player joining.
Its an odd outlook to have that if a team loses then no players could of played well or that the performance of individual players should be ignored or overlooked as it counts for nothing.
Whilst Makouns performances have not been consistent he played very well at OT and equal to any midfield performance any Villa player put in last season.
Whilst he hasnt joined from South America he has still come from a different Country and a different type of football and joined a struggling club mid season with little English knowledge. I would say a period of settling in would be acceptable and perhaps this was refleced in some of his performances.
What I can say is we have few players who can play one touch passes like he can, Makoun will help our football and hopefully others will start to mirror his passing and the fluidity of our football will increase and that can only be a good thing.
To be fair though, that is to Arsenals credit.
Had Fabregas been a Villa player he would have been out the door quicker than lager turns to piss
That's nothing, Robbie Keane has been coming to Villa for over 10 years
Theres also a lot of lads younger than the ones mentioned who are also real talents and good prospects, the obvious one is Jordan Graham who always stands out as head and shoulders above the other u16's but I see he is listed in the academy this year. Another lad is Daniel Crowley who at 13 already plays for the u16's and in fact scored on his last run out at the Emirates on the last day of the season against Arsenal u16's
Approve.
I cant believe people cant see how good we've got it compared to most especially after watching that documentary the other night.
We're losing so much money and if we've sold players to help with that debt then so be it, I'd rather be watching Aston Villa for the next 30 years or so and hopefully down Villa Park and not at Stadium KFC.
SSN said they have not long ago spoke to Whelan and that the price is £10m not £12m and that Nzogbia isnt on strike he continues to train and his behaviour is exemplary.
Whelan told Goal.com: “Aston Villa are still offering nine million and I want 10 million. They offered nine and I said 'no thanks, you will have to make it 10 and then you can talk to him'. Other clubs are interested so there is no way I will be going down to nine million
So sell him to those other clubs then you big fucktard, why moan about Villa.
Well in that case then Whelan might as well ask for another two or three million and we might as well bend over and let him have what he wants, especially if we are looking stupid, we wouldnt want that.
Well if thats the case hopefully he isnt including Nzogbia and if he is then hopefully we'll sign more before the deadline, but if we dont then I shall be in the camp who question the board.
But which is better?
There's only one way to find out...
I'll get the goal posts, you kick the footballs.... :?
Think he meant a break dance off.
Surely he meant fight, where did the break dancing come from?
I totally agree, I personally think even personal terms have been agreed. Whelan has just decided to try his luck and fair play to him, I belive the ongoing discussions is now reaching a compromise, I dont see this one falling through.
I think the poster you refer to above is an Everton fan.
ANd they most definitely do not have a pot to piss in!
Sadly true, which is why the reports of our bid for N'Zogbia made me chuckle.
We haven't bought a first team player for nearly 2 years!
The Zog will be in claret and blue next season, hope he does well and you enjoy a better season than last.
What part of the team would you put Bent in then?
Wooooooooooooooooooosh
