  1. The first episode back of Walking Dead was much better than it had been going. Rick finally grew some balls. I'd also highly recommend Person of Interest , the leads are great and it throws in enough little bits of wry humour every now and then, which too many American shows lack.
  2. Wanted to bump this thread with the seven Villa players possibley called up. Baker, Delfouneso, Gardner, Bent, Collins, Hutton, and Bannan. Just wondered who people would pick in a GB 11?

Six hours round trip or six hours there and six hours back? It's six hours round, but a combination of money, work and the fact that no-one will go with me in the car in case I'm in a foul mood all the way back, means I haven't gone this season. My GF still doesn't understand why I still watch every match on the TV/net when it makes me so angry/miserable.

I know it won't win me any better fan pissing contests, but I have a six hour journey to watch the Villa. And this season is the first in many years where I just can't bring myself to go and watch. It's just too depressing.
  6. I hope none of this effects the filming of Wipeout.
  7. There's a difference between setting up and hoping for a 0-0 draw. And playing a cautious, yet counter-attacking game. You need to play at least one of your creative players or someone with blistering pace. Otherwise the only way you'll score is luck, and the only reason you won't concede, defending for 90 minutes, is luck.
  8. How stupid would you have to be to post that on twitter. It's basically an underhanded death threat.
  9. I don't think Socrates is around any more (Sócrates Brasileiro Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira) When you said a big name you did mean a 'BIG' name didn't you? Jan Johannes Vennegoor of Hesselink
  10. How am I? The evidence clearly shows that Suarez would of shook hands with Evra had his hand been at the normal height. Evra started the sly games in this instance and Suarez was only too happy to play along. Clearly? ha, ha, ha.. I don't believe anyone honestly believes that. The question is why, if Liverpool were so hard done by, they didn't appeal. Or if it was me accused of being racist with no apparent evidence, sue. Because I would have done, I'd have been fuming. Suarez, doesn't have a leg to stand on. That's why. Why anyone would want to defend him, is beyond me.
  11. Negating what he could spend in a possible future. If you judge him on the things that you can judge him on so far, tactics, organisation, motivation, team selection, results etc. It's been poor, and any one that argues otherwise has to be completely blinkered not to see it.
  12. N'zogbia has hardly been worth his fee yet either, and the best our defence has looked all season was with Guzan in goal.
  13. I'm sorry but even though some might find it difficult to get past. I'm a Villa supporter and I don't have a burning hatred for blues. I was actually accepting of AM's appointment. I couldn't however been more wrong. His results, football, motivation, organisation, most of his signings have been just plain awful. To quote a Brown's 'You have me paying you every saturday to make me sad.' His tenure is making me not look forward to games. And I've never felt like that before. And amazingly it has f#ck all to do with his time at Birmingham city.

ridiculous statement, negative football myth?? this is a man that played SIX defenders in one game and who has spent the entire season playing one upfront. by saying there has been good football this season is crazy. we have played about 200 mins of good football all season out 2160 minutes. the rest has been totally shit. he spent money on hutton and nzogbia which was a total waste of a limited budget. he is also a liar and totally delusional, his substitutions beggar belief and the sooner he is out villa park the better. Infact it would be better if he left the game for good so nobody else has to but up with him. he is a horrible dull uninspiring bag of shite and he can take his nasty little sidekick peter grant with him. totatlly clueless, totally out of his depth and a total waste of time I don't know, he can go back to the Blues if he wants.
  15. Knowing our luck he was probably here talking to Randy because he's buying the Browns.
  16. Thinking about it, I'd love to see Wenger get the job. He'd pick some striker from the third division you'd never heard of, and they'd end up being England's all time top scorer.
  17. I'm also going to see the Muppets tomorrow and I'm not ashamed to say that I can't wait.
  18. That's nothing compared to what the press will do to Redknapp if he gets the job. And he's already shown he is easily riled by reporters.

A Boro fan threw his season ticket at Steve McClaren in protest, by the end of the season he was appointed England manager. At least we could give the FA food for thought.
