  1. wouldn't be able to afford either!! I know Ings hasn't signed a new deal yet but probably will.. Need to look towards foreign leagues (for a goalscorer) similar to Newcastle with Ayoze and West Ham with Sakho!! Someone banging them in maybe the French, Dutch or Spainish 2nd Divisions (like the two i mentioned did last season) Or take a punt on someone like Calum Wilson (Bournemouth) or Igor Vetokele (Charlton) although those two will cost over £5mil a piece as well.. Michiel Kramer of Ado Den Haag is banging them in this season and maybe one to watch, 10 already.. 6ft 5in and 25 years old.
  2. Palace away tomorrow night we have sold out the away allocation yet again! amazing will probably be around 3.5k there tomorrow night on a cold Tuesday! Amazing support
  3. Would make a great number 2 if you ask me, wasn't he technical director, or director of football or something at Fulham though? Not a coach? Curbishley could be a good inspired choice, he brought Darren Bent for £2.5mil from Ipswich in 2005 and he was banging them in for fun. 20+ in his two seasons for Curbishley before moving to Spurs for £16.5million. Hopefully Curbishley could work with Callum Robinson and do the same as our assistant? certainly would be far worse coaches out there than Curbishley.
  4. I like Johnson and don't know why we don't ever play him at Villa.. he is impressing on his loans this season.
  5. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/roy-keanes-shock-aston-villa-4719930 Culverhouse & Karsa and now Keane... Our players really don't like being told what to do, do they?
  6. We had the biggest away following in the whole league at Yesterday's game!! think we took 4.2k fans to Turf Moor! That is some achievement and fair play to every one that went, we all deserve so much better... Over to you Lerner/Lambert
  7. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-paul-lambert-responds-8199530
  8. This was Lambert 2 years ago, except he also had a respectable PL finish. He and most other managers who come in will likely have the same problems. no two managers are the same though keyblade, just because Lambert hasn't done a good job here doesn't mean someone else from possibly the Championship won't if we did ever go down that route for a new manager when/if it happens.
  9. Mark Warburton (Brentford) could be a good choice, has got them playing some wonderful stuff on probably the tiniest budget in Championship.
  10. Mark Warburton (Brentford) could be someone to look towards as a potential new manager, on a tiny budget he is got Brentford playing free-flowing attacking football and bringing on some of their youngsters!!
  11. yep exactly Useless, what i said in other thread that i wouldn't be suprised if it will be the Scottish coach, the Scottish coach is Billy Stark who is now out of work..
  12. Billy Stark?? Isn't he the Iron Man. Ex Scotland U21 manager, he left them a few weeks ago.. You are thinking of Tony Stark
  13. What's the betting that Villa appoint Billy Stark (Who he wanted before) to be the new assistant manager?
  14. jack ‏@LudasFUT 3 mins3 minutes ago pne will probably tweet this tomorrow callum Robinson has returned back to Aston Villa more details on the way here http://www.pnefc.net Preston Supp Group ‏@psgupdate 6 mins 6 minutes ago We are sure we speak on behalf of all #PNEFC fans in thanking @CallumRobbo37 for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future. 15. http://www.11v11.com/matches/aston-villa-v-southampton-24-november-1993-21417/ was 16,180 not 15,500 for Villa vs Southampton (24th November 1993)
  16. How did we get an attendance that low when we had been runners up just a few months before!? Was very cold mate and snow was deep, they spent hours shovelling it off the pitch and lot of the roads around Aston was blocked. Maybe a lot of people didn't want the hassle.. But was lowest league attendance i can remember for us since Premiership was formed.
  17. Here it is cracking pass https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDvIB7p2gOY#t=19
  18. 21 years ago this week (November 1993) we lost 2-0 to Southampton (Matt Le Tissier with both) with our lowest Premier League attendance at around 15,500 at a very cold Villa Park pitch (groundsmen had to remove snow before game), was an awful game. Just hope history doesn't repeat itself tonight with the scoreline and very low attendance (doubt it will be anything like 15,500 though)
  19. Callum Robinson @CallumRobbo37 · 6 hrs6 hours ago Thanks for the tweets people! What a great result today, beating top of the league 0-1! Happy to get another goal today! 5 in 5 now caamon
