  1. Carrick? Won the premiership 3 times, champions league and the world club cup. Lets hope Milner is using him as one of the examples.
  2. That entire article is flawed as hell. Fat isn't bad. Eating fat does not make you fat. You're not exhausting half your budget of "bad stuff" you're meeting half your budget of "stuff your body needs, but you're probably not giving it, because you're a retard that thinks all fat is bad so avoid it to the extent you're probably only getting 10% of your calories from fat rather than the 30% your body really wants". That's not to mention that protein is awesome. And people generally eat too many carbs. That means the double down is FAR better for people than anything in a bun when people already eat carb dense diets. The salt thing is a non-issue unless you have hypertension as well. Our bodies can cope with far far more salt than that. If you're grabbing a bite to eat at a fast food joint the double down should be top of the list of "things that won't turn me into a fatty" simply because it lacks the calorie dense hunks of something that looks kinda like bread but really isn't either side of it. By missing off the carbs contained in everything other than the double down they're screwing the results, so essentially the graph is true ONLY if you just eat the patties. The "double downs per calorie" is also laughable, because it then turns getting calories from anything but protein and fat into a good thing, the more calories in the burgers that come from anything else, the better according to that graph! Which is pure bullshit when you consider the breakdown of your average diet. Whereas you should be aiming for a 50/30/20 carb/protein/fat break up most people are actually nearer to 70/20/10 so just to confirm, am i allowed a big mac at lunch or not?
  3. please not beckford, dreadful attitude. Kalinic maybe a good talent but are either of these players actually likely to push us on to the top 4?
  4. do people really expect to see Petrov go from Captain virtual ever present to bench warmer? I expect MON to make changes in other areas personally. He clearly rates Petrov a lot higher than most on here.
  5. First bit of ITK, a friend of mine has just received an enquiry from Villa for a large number of chairs. This can only mean one thing
  6. Pics of what? :? I'm at work. I don't expect one anyway, i was only joshin. Just a smile on her face will be enough for me 8) sounds like someone didnt get a blowy
  7. true but Lescott wasnt worth £24m and Barry with a year left wasnt worth £12m, Santa Cruz wasnt worth £20m?
  8. id take Carrick, very similar to what we've got though.
  9. think he'll go and think it'll be around 25m. Which i think is a good price. This whole thing for me though is one of the reasons the top 4 has stayed so strong for so long. If you have players that are playing at that level then the top 4 simply take them away. Berbatov, Keane, Carrick, Barry. Would anyone be surprised to see Bale and Gomez at United next year?
  10. couldnt disagree more, thought it was a good performance from all. Two poor goals to concede but nice to see us try and play a bit of football. If we score some of our easy chances your looking at a very different game. Thought Carew was excellent, how many times did he bring the ball down in the box and bully Jagielka, just a shame we couldnt link up better with him.
  11. how does anyone actually do this without getting sucked into anothers countrys system. A friend of mine moved to Spain, now has the choice of working 12 hour days in a shop or resturant, gets one day off a week but hardly works in the winter. Guess what, its not sunny then. Dont get it.
  12. OMG you just reminded me of the best crisps ever made. And in doing so, I've found a place where I can order them. Cheers Tony. still for sale in my corner shop. love em but not a patch on Transformersnacks
  13. That's a strong team AG - this everton team dismanteld a very strong Man City team the other week so I expect (as usual) a very tough game probably resulting in a draw. I cant see us getting the win - we will struggle with Everton's tenacity - and that boy Cahill is probably the best midfielder outside of the Sky4. We need a win. Cahill best midfielder outside of the top 4....with his head maybe. Massively over rated for me.
  14. watched the manure chelsea game in 3d and for me it definately adds to the viewing experience. Not really gimmicky just like the above poster said, good depth. Sports like golf also look great in 3d, its like looking into a goldfish bowl just a bit more fun.
  15. while i dont like Cueller at right back either, i doubt he'll be as exposed as Luke Young was last week.
  16. anyone know if its safe to go back on VT board
  17. bollocks, just burnt my lips on some pizza.
  18. hope its not deemed insensitive but ive often wondered, what do people who have been blind since birth dream about?
  19. OBE: Thats the question ? what would your gut reaction tell you, at this point in the season with so much importance on this fixture for Chelsea, being that if they drop points to Villa right now, that could be the end of the premiership title for them ( was this the bridge to far for Chelsea), if we are 2-1 up with 10 mins to go are players like Malouda going to start getting bitchy and and frustrated making silly tackles that put players out, for me all this plays its part. Can we beat Chelsea in this game at this point, I would rest any key player that looks jaded that looks a doubt injury wise, thats coming back from injury. Thing is MON is more a one trick pony ( I say that with 100% respect to the Man) he goes 100% for every game and looks for the result regardless of the next fixture( except for the Europa cup last year that is) . Its a really difficult question that singles out the great tacticians from the also rans IMO, Mourinho was a class act in this way, out thinking the opposition manager IMO. are you a politician? I cant find a single answer in your posts.
  20. if your 21 your already about 4 years to old.
  21. Got to be Magaluf, went three years running a good few years ago, what a place. Would never go back....Voinjama, dont ask becuase we cant tell you....what goes on tour
  22. I know wgere you're coming from I used to be like you. Of course i'm excited about Villa in the semi final, my left knee and my bad back are not. Expense (which you're right I should have explained) is probabaly by far the greatest reason for not going. we only got 37k on Saturday and money was the reason. Its a semi final and some may have half an eye on a final. Did you go to the CC final because quite frankly Wembley was one hell of a disappointment. I didn't because I couldnt get a ticket. And I wont be able to go to the FA cup final for the same reasons (if we get through). And thats fair because I am not a season ticket holder. But I would expect that season ticket holders (who sometimes unfairly have a grumble at every man and his dog trying to get a ticket to a final) come up with better excuses not to go to a semi final than, it shunt be at wembley or wel probly lose or wembley's difficult to get out of. Id kill for a chance to go if your that desperate to go, why not just pay tout prices?
  23. if i thought it was fixed i wouldnt be able to watch it.
