  1. Ominous feel to this one. Encouraging that we are creating a bit more but we have to be the most limp dick of a team in the whole league.
  2. Under the Shadow Absolutely superb.
  3. McGrath laying into him on Twitter questioning his work rate. He was awful tonight.
  4. We will ruin him for sure. If Mcormack wasn't a massive bellend he would have made a nice partner for him. Kodjia will ruin him. Or Bruce will will ruin him by sticking up front on his own with a midfield on our own goal line
  5. Bruce does seem to be throwing any players or formations on the pitch and seeing what sticks. At the moment **** all. He needs to find continuity and quick
  6. I'm one of them that says forget promotion let's just stabilise until next year and get some momentum and style of play. But even tonight I'm beginning to think I'm **** done with this. We are now the laughing stock of the championship. Literally back to the RDM days at the start of the season
  7. He's an absolute fanny this guy. Even our own players are telling him to get up
  8. Hogan is getting more and more pissed off Kodjia can **** right off if he's gonna ignore him every game
  9. This is dreadful. What do we practise in training? Running around while the u23s pass it around us?
  10. I really feel sorry for Hogan having Kodjia as a strike partner
  11. Kodjia is the laziest player I've ever seen. So many opportunities to press the ball to put the defenders under pressure and he just stands there. When he should be passing it he holds onto it and loses it. When he should be holding it up he tries a needless flick and loses it. God knows where we'd be without his goals but **** me he is so frustrating to watch. Very annoyed by The amount of possession we are giving them. We just invite pressure all the **** time!
  12. I'd go three at the back and try to stop this awful rot away from home 352 with wing backs johnstone, baker, Chester, elphick, Bree, amavi (both wing backs) Gardner (holding) Lansbury, hourihane (both central) and then Kodjia and hogan up front. i really really really don't wanna see hogan on his own with Kodjia out wide. Our striker always ends up isolated and our attacking play is so predictable. Hogan isn't a target man just as Kodjia isn't. Get two up front as soon as possible to start forming a partnership
  13. When Bruce came I in I said I just want him to stabilise us, get us winning more and being some confidence back with a mid table finish. After RDMs first 12 games I wrote off promotion so I'm not getting too down about our slide away from the play offs. Next year however after a summer of transfer activity I will be **** fuming if the likes of Hutton Westwood bacuna and gabby are still in the line up and we don't push for promotion. Put your anger on hold for next year
  14. Bruce has admitted this morning that the Rhodes deal is 'as good as over'. To be honest I think we've dodged a bullet. Over priced and would be another McCormack signing. Lansbury and Hourihane for 5m however is incredible business
  15. Oh my god I've just seen the Cardiff goal. Pathetic
  16. Wednesday will bag their token 93rd minute winner to make us 8 points behind anyway
  17. I'm just crossing my fingers the rest of the play off pack don't all pull further ahead. January window is absolutely crucial
  18. There's a possibility Ghana said you can have him but he doesn't play 90 minutes. Who knows. Would prefer Adomah/ Grealish starting anyway
  19. Our worst starting line up for a while. So disjointed on paper. Essentially needing to rely on a McCormack free kick or perhaps a grealish special. Cardiff midfield will steam roller ours. Narrow defeat today for me
  20. Not good enough. we were awful tonight. Defensively all over the place. Cannot believe Leeds have took 4 points off us. We will be 8 points off the play offs by the end of Saturday.
  21. Come out all blood and guts for the first 5 minutes then revert to type. We offer absolutely zero threat in front of goal. Leeds are shit. I cannot believe they have a chance of going 3rd. For the love of god villa step it up!
  22. Wednesday winning has pissed me right off. Back to 6 points off despite today's win.
  23. Sounds like the same old story. Play garbage but pick up points. Doing that a lot under Bruce. It's a vital component of a promotion chasing side and up until today I would have said Leeds have been doing the exact same thing very well. Still waiting for our forwards to realise they can score more than 1 between them in a game. Would love is to hit top gear against leeds

  25. It's all guess work but my feeling is bruce doesn't quite view him as having the tenacity and work rate to play in our CM. I know that sounds rich coz Westwood gets picked fairly regularly but Tish would often be caught jogging lazily when off the ball whereas I could never question westys work rate.I'm just not sure he has the determination or ability to run a championship midfield. Bruce isn't happy with our powder puff midfield and will undoubtedly strengthen. But I'do agree at this point that the other three CMs should be ahead of him certainly in terms of experience and reliability. And I really don't think Tish has done anything in his short villa career to date to warrant us clamouring for him to be a starter. I think it's more a case of our other options being poor aswell. Are we really in a position to give a youngster with potential so much game time when we are chasing promotion? Especially in midfield which is always a battleground in the championship. Our next midfield purchase is absolutely key to our season and future. It simply has to be a player that can make runs beyond our front line and support attacks. At the same time a player who is disciplined postionally. A Kevin Nolan of 6 years ago would be perfect.
