  2. Yeah, just realised people might think I wanted Savage for LB! Chuck the Norwich FBs Lewis & Aarons on the list and we’d be even better going forward. That would be some window, maybe with another CM if it’s fantasy football.
  3. ———————Origi———————— Benrahma——JG——Watkins/Rashica —————Luiz———SJM—————— Savage.
  4. I don’t think Watkins is ‘the’ striker, but would certainly improve the squad overall - which we badly need. Quite happy for the owners to turn on the spending firehose.
  5. Exactly. Make America British Again.
  6. Checked arms control twitter and pure ammonium nitrate explodes with approximately 50% of the power of TNT. Assuming the material was of a high quality, that means the explosion yesterday was 1 to 1.5 kilotons, or the equivalent of a large tactical nuclear warhead. For reference, the Hiroshima detonation was 15 kilotons.

Just rumour control in my department among the US politics wonks - they are pretty good though.

Susan Rice looking likely to be VP on Biden’s ticket. She a neo-con to her bootstraps on foreign policy and likely to be President shortly after Biden stumbles over the finish line.
  9. Haha. Clearly you’re quite upset that Israel is offering to help Lebanon, despite the fact it’s just suffered a major disaster. However... I’m Brummie not Israeli, and the ‘PR’ is on Al Arabiya - also not my responsibility. Again, who is the ‘we’ you speak for?
  10. Who is ‘we’? Not sure you’re in a position to decline humanitarian aid on behalf of Lebanon, are you?
  11. You’ve got the wrong end of the stick completely.
  12. Not the same as rebuilding, but helpful for now.
  13. Basically the same effect as a tactical nuke, in a country that was already barely functioning and on its knees economically. Sadly in Covid world I’m not sure where the massive help required to rebuild will come from.
  14. Probably fair, but I am certain that explosion wasn’t caused by 1) fireworks, or 2) a grain elevator exploding. Jordan seismic survey registered the explosion at 4.5. That’s a massive, chemically driven detonation. 2750 tons of ammonium nitrate would fit the bill. Edit: Lebanese Interior Minister thinks the guy on Twitter might be right.
  15. Apparently there was 2750 tons of confiscated ammonium nitrate in the dockside warehousing. Whatever started the fire that seems to have been the cause of the major explosion. Never seen anything like it. Horrific.
  16. Apparently PSG are looking to move Idrissa Gueye on already. He’s pushing 31 but for the right price (a fairly low price) I wouldn’t mind having him back for a season or two. Anyone seen him play this season?

    Douglas Luiz

Midfield general in the making, he’s got everything.
  18. Exactly this. The owners have repeatedly said they want to get us competing in the top tier of European football, they’ll know full well what that implies financially. It’ll be exciting to see how the extent of their ambition translates into new players this summer.
  19. I can’t figure out who this is, do you have a link mate?
