    We should rest our first 11 against Bolton on saturday then, incase 1 of them gets seriously injured. And then there's the Wolves game after, that will be fiesty. Best leave them out to prevent injury. Obviously because Bolton is also a knockout competetion that will not aid us with 3 more points towards safety. We should all realise by now that this is a season of transition. Our squad is not there yet we just have to accept that. It's also good long term experience for the kids and i'm sure after tweaking and adding to the squad we will be much better off in the long run for it.

    I have to ask again. Do any of you realise the priorities we have? Would you have liked it if one of our first 11 got seriously injured today and enhanced our slump into the championship? Ratings and OVERREACTION FFS. I didn't even know why Houllier bother bringing the subs on at the end to be honest. Wasnt even really that bothered about the game...wanted a result of course...but I know where my priorities lay.

    Overreact much? I think some people forget we have more important things...such as PRemier League survival to concentrate on. Don't write them off so quickly either, I'd rather us lose today and have all our best for the next PL game. UTV!

    Sorry don't agree on Makoun... I thought he looked very tidy... very quick and decisive with his passing...doesnt need to run all over the place because he does what he does efficiently. It was his debut for god sake..... give him a chance! Bent made some great runs and would have been dissappointed alot of them weren't picked up. We should have been at least 3 up by half time. We had some very flowing moves at times.

    Doesnt seem cut and dried yet though according to Northern papers...Sunderland are holding out for 20 mill plus! Also saw somewhere on twitter that we could have had him for 10 mill when he went to Spurs but Oneill baulked at the price!(Signed Heskey instead) :/

    I support Houllier, but to be honest that really is a baffling decision...makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I thought the most common sensical thing to do would be to play the players in there natural positions!
