Id go as far to say appetite for destruction by guns n roses was probaly the greatest debut of all time,

West mids police aint got a clue why we aint gone in for the 2nd allocation, ticket sales were goin good for the game and with 3weeks until game we would of definately of sold another 1000, maybe ticket office did not want to risk it but i think they have made a mistake on this one

masterplan was awesome, cant believe it was never released as a proper album, i still think though that definately maybe was their best

ye I cant see him lasting long, maybe it will take time for his revolution to settle down but I can see him walking, on the subject of yesterdays game what a refreshing site it was to see selhurst park with a great atmosphere with their ultra's in the corner constantly chanting and waving flags,fair play to them it sounded and looked great

regarding the sex pistols their a band which I don't mind 2 or 3 of their songs but I hate everything they stood for, hated the image and were a shit band, but they were relevant for a short time and even in 20 years time people will still be discovering their music and wearing the t shirts, I liked the clash to a degree and were probably my favourite band out of all that punk crap that come out around that time although I don't see the clash as proper punk, the arctic monkeys have no relevance at all, I really liked the libertines debut album and all in all pete Docherty was a very talented person who had something about him, I can still see people in 20 years listening to the libertines, one of the few modern bands I had any time for, oasis made 2 great albums which were the first 2 then the 3rd album was mediocre after that their aint much else that they done that was any good,

i suppose but its hardly a song that is associated with us and i bet alot of villa fans dont know it, i dont think we sing it do we? I hate man utd but whoever comes up with those songs they sing is a genius, they have a really good song book

behave! probably the best British band going at the moment and more importantly easily the band most happy to play with and evolve their sound, add to that their significance and influence as a band in the 00s they'll be around for ages, they've got everything apart from a traditional rock and roll huge personality front man each to their own but i cannot stand the arctic monkeys, absolute crap, just hearing their frontman makes me want to smash the radio up

Wish we had a song\anthem that was associated with us west ham have bubblesn leeds have marching on together and even the shit have keep right on, most of the big clubs have a song associated with them

bit of a joke aint it, surely we would shift the second allocation aswell

according to west midlands police we are only having the initial allocation and are not taking the second allocation which seems mad as its sold out with 3 weeks until game

what you need to consider aswell is that ok we might have blues baggies and wolves to contend with and also Coventry down the road plus the east midlands clubs but these clubs are hardly huge, only wolves and forest I consider big ish clubs the others are medium sized, then you go up north and look what everton have to contend with, they share a city with one of europes biggest clubs and also have man utd and man city next door, plus all the other Lancashire clubs like Bolton Blackburn etc etc, man city also have done very well in terms of their support as up until now they aint been very successful but still got huge support, London clubs will always do well because of the huge population, the north east clubs obviously get big support as their aint to many clubs up that area plus its secluded from the rest of the country and other than football their aint to much else up their, we did not sell out last year at spurs,chelsea,everton,liverpool,man city,newcastle,sunderland, and I don't think man utd sold out and 6 of those teams only gave us the smaller allocation, excuse Chelsea for the price and sunderland and Newcastle for the distance but the others not selling out is really something that cant be excused, ok we were shit last year but to only take just over a thousand to everton and city is poor, and to be fair the distance we have to travel to those places aint that far plus most of them were on Saturdays, for all the fans that cant be arsed to go or cant afford to or cant make it for whatever reason a club our size should have the fans to replace them, on our home attendances we are well known for having 42k one week then the next game having something like 33k, apart from man utd and Liverpool I bet we have the biggest percentage of fair weather fans in the league, I think we sold just over 20k season tickets this year and I just cant see how it aint more like 30k, I know we aint really done much of late but surely this huge name of English football can do better than that, but like a lot of villa fans know all this what ive mentioned has always been the norm at the villa, a wolves fan said to me the other day that if villa got the other 90 percent of their localised fanbase to go games we would fill every ground in the midland such to the extent is our support, I think a lot of teams up north and in London underestimate the numbers which support villa, we have a huge following, maybe we need the success to bring them to the villa

I don't mean to knock our support but when you think about it its pretty poor home and away, we are one of the cheapest clubs in the league to follow and as we are in a central location we do less miles on our travels as a lot of teams, home gates should be more consistent around the 40k mark and our away support can be awesome at times but on a fair few occasions its piss poor, and why we haven't got more season ticket holders I don't know, if we weren't a big club then theirs your answer but even as we are now were still a big club and we have a big fanbase, I think its always been like this at villa and to be fair its a bit of a mystery,

well done villa, stoke are doin a similar thing but their doin it for every away game

I agree, the holte end is shockingly quiet for a lot of the games, how many times have us the villa fans moaned about the atmosphere in the holte, wish things were different because when it gets going its almighty loud,

If we got 22k against malaga in a freindly then we should atleast get the same or even more, club our size should never be getting below 20k no matter what game it is, we should be hitting minimum 25k as ticket prices are so low and season ticket holders have free tickets with their villa cash plus we aint got game for few weeks, all that matters is the result obviously but a nice healthy crowd would be great

ye the tranmere game was terrible, worst ive known villa park and attendance was shocking, never heard the story about the Southampton game in 80s though, not sure where to sit tomorrow, gonna use my villa cash, surely a clean sheet is on the horizon

This will probaly be my first away game this season,I've been to the old ground, boothbury park I think it was which was a shit hole, 30 notes a ticket ay a bad price
