i get the us and them attitude and i get they feel the need to protect their own, i mean the west has created some of this problem to a degree. ive been and worked in indian communities and also black communities but when ive worked in muslim areas there just seems this horrible negative vibe, like what are you doing in this area and it just feels such horrible places where as say indian communities seem a lot more open and vibrant. just my view of how i feel and see things, but im someone with no experience and socialisation of other faiths and cultures. no way in a million years would i march with edl or bnp members, i hate that image its tacky and very unsavoury. im not a right wing person at all, infact i commented before that i can see the appeal of isis for young muslims. they come across very with it and project a cool image. they come across as rock stars for the young muslim world and i can see why they appeal to people. obviously i dont agree with there actions but they are the new trendy image of terrorism and they are taking it to new modern boundaries. completely agree

i completely agree with what you say about the muslim community here and abroad doing more to paint a different view. i think they could do a lot more, in my eyes they dont seem to intergrate very well but thats just through my eyes.

yes i admit by view of islam is not positive at all and in a way its no surprise i view islam the way i do, most people i know also view islam in a bad light. its just so hard to view it any other way when i very rarely see anything positive about the religion, i really wish things were different. as i said in a previous post in order for me to trust islam id have to go out and find this trust and see for myself that it aint how i percieve it.

How about this type of thing thats fair enough, i remember mooney posting something else about a mosque helping the jews which i thought was great. its a shame anything positive gets hidden underneath all this evil and hate.

i was watching an interesting documentary earlier about radical islam, i dont think people realise how deep and widespread it is. its taught in schools to hate america,israel and britain and they teach jihad at an early age, also there are a lot of adverts on tv that promote this. they was interviewing a muslim woman who now lives in the states, shes very westernised and she was saying that all over islam they teach that islam is the only religion and that non believers should be basically killed. she was explaining how deep and widespread it is, she also said that muslims who relocate to non muslim countries there goal is to spread islam as much as they could in the hope that it will take over. she said not all muslims but a lot will seem very freindly and will come across peaceful but its just a show and really they want islam to rule the world. it spoke to former muslims who have left islam because it does not promote peace etc, now as ive said before i dont trust islam one bit and i dont mean to offend anyone but thats the way i feel and this documentary hightened my paranoia. this was not a documentary done by americans it actually had muslim and ex muslims in it, some people will think its just propoganda but i do believe that a huge percent of the muslim world would want islam to be the only religion and rule the world. this muslim bloke who has studied all the muslim koran and texts said the reason why islam will never be peaceful is because the koran preaches violence and murder against non believers, the prophet muhammed beheaded between 600 and 900 non believers. it was interesting to see the preachers preaching to thousands of people about killing non believers and it also showed you school books where the kids learn about murder and hate. there are a lot of propoganda adverts about how america wants to wipe out islam, by doing this its teaching muslims to hate and fight. i do believe it gets played down a hell of a lot and i think people dont realise the danger but i can also see why they have this hate of the west and israel. i know most people will think im wrong and thats fair enough, i also aint painting all muslims with the same brush but i think there is a huge percentage that are to radicalised.

Side two has some lighter stuff but yeah I see your point, side one is very guitar and drum heavy which kind of suits my musical taste.

I can never pick a favourite zep album as I'm spoilt for choice but if pushed I normally go for physical graffiti. The first side of that album is so strong, all killer tracks and the second side is good as well.

ramble on and thank you off led zep II are two of my favourite zep songs, only songs i dont really care for off that album are moby dick and bring it on home. i really like houses of the holy but sometimes it can come across a bit light which is exactly how its meant to come across i suppose but if i want something heavy on i dont play it.

in the evening is the only one i can really say i like, the rest range from meh to poor but thats just my opinion.

to be honest i think its pretty awful, some albums will grow on me but everytime i listen to this one it just seems to get worse. i felt like giving it another chance today and i stuck it out but it misses page really bad on this album, hes on it obviously but he had little influence on the album and he just wernt with it as he was smacked out of his head. even page himself said it was to soft and weak but there are people who love it, in terms of diversity i think houses of the holy was a great statement although it aint my favourite. but in the 70s zep could of released an album full of tom jones covers and it would of shifted millions.

mid to late 60s music, it has a certain magic and charm about it. it paints that era so well and beautiful although it wernt all like that i know. just watched forest gump again and i absolutely love the soundtrack to it, i love the hippie image and everything about that era.

israel have a lot of power and influence, terrorism is terrorism wether its coming from muslims,jews or whoever. its easy to see why the muslim world hate israel, terrible behaviour. i can see both sides point of view though, it will never end until there is a complete apocolypse in that part of the world.

last day off tomorrow so im mowing the lawns early then all of us are off down the park for most of the day, going to be red hot so its a good job they have a paddling pool there.
