  1. Definitely mate . Both teams will score it’s just a matter of who gets the most , but we do have an advantage being 1 up already. People go on about their home crowd, well we’ve played a few tricky away games already this season so we have nothing to fear.
  2. Worry about Lille next week. There’s go there with the intent we can get something. Yes they are a better team and we are away but let’s go there and try and hurt them. Spurs have a tough game today.
  3. Always felt the Doug Ellis stand is too far back from the pitch . Could have added a few more rows of seats in that stand if they had come in a bit more.
  4. Positives are we go there with a lead and we’ll have our chances in the next leg. They are a dangerous team though and will almost certainly score against us . Slight advantage to us but this really could go either way and we’ll have to perform better than we usually do in this competition.
  5. These will be very hard to crack . Very organised team hard to break down and dangerous going forward. Need bit more tensity
  6. A 1 goal lead wouldn’t be a bad result going there . On paper we should have too much but this is Villa in Europe
  7. Great atmosphere and yes it was hostile too back in the 90s
  8. TV and LG not sold out yet so I’ll assume later today those unsold tickets will become available
  9. Few tickets became available now. Seats together, be quick.
  10. Pisses me off that they leave things so late. It must sell out before people’s resale tickets go on sale which is stupid. Put them on when it’s close to selling out to give people more options and a chance of getting 2/3 seats together.
  11. Me and my lad bought tickets yesterday for the designated area
  12. I thought that but thought it was too much of a coincidence to have rows and rows of empty seats together in that one block of Doug Ellis stand.
  13. My missus cousin isn’t happy about the new ground news. He’s worried they won’t be proper blues anymore .
  14. Yeah that’s fair enough mate and a perfectly good reason . I get the club needs to try and bridge some of the gap with the clubs above us but it’s been a big hike for fans. When you have a few empty seats like against Brentford though it does question the apparent 30k waiting list.
  15. For the most part in this competition we’ve been under cooked . Hopefully we can start upping our game over both legs.
  16. If it is actually going to happen then it will make things interesting regarding our future ground extension or possible new ground as some think will happen .
  17. Let em’ build it. It has no relevance to us one bit. Be interesting to see how they try to fill it, and that’s not a dig. Very cheap tickets and a decent team would of course help.
  18. Why? Their goal would be to stay up and I’m not sure that appeals to him . Better clubs would be interested in him not that we want to sell him .
  19. Don’t think we can afford a free hit . We must go there expecting to come away with something. I hope one day we get that winning mentality at the club .
