    I can’t understand why the club would do an interview with him the day or the day before the rumours started. The rumoured injury isn’t a contact injury or a muscular injury so you would have thought there would be knowledge of it prior to the interview.

    Panic!!! Concerning thing for me is that it was a shin injury that kept him out for a couple of months last time. Hopefully it’s all just bullshit - losing Cash and Grealish would be pretty devastating.

    Really hope he signs a new contract. I’m sure discussions are going on behind the scenes. Let’s not forget Konsa must feel very valued by Deano considering he has signed him twice. Says a lot.

    Deano dropped Ghazi after his purple patch. He then hauled him off at half time against a West Ham. I cannot understand why we would persist in playing him when he is so off his game. His passing is shocking, he ambles about and he is so slow with the ball at his feet. Really disappointing because 4 games ago I was calling for patience.

    Pressure of making the England team for the Euros starting to unsettle him? He is a class class act and I’m sure he will be back to his very best soon - we need to be decisive and put him where Barkley is in games like last night.

    Fair point this. I have been frustrated with Barkley but do see the merits in this. If he has another stinker then I would like to see somebody come in - perhaps Sanson. Big game this!! Hoping for a Jack masterclass - he has been 7/8 out of 10 the last couple of games rather than 9/10!
