    Faulkner might now have a clue employing a manager but he must have something about him to get decent sponsorship and kit deals given the fact the team have performed shit most of the season.Should we just about stay up I can not see how much longer they can keep employing someone so universial unliked by the fans and performing so badly and hope to attract investment. What horrifies me is how bad we are at defending I mean for FFS the third goal on Saturday why the hell wasn't Heskey on the near post ? Honestly the worst I throught we would be this year was grinding out boring 1-0 wins...how wrong I was

    With all the injuries and Petrov situation IF he keeps u sup I can see him being kept due to keping us up under difficult circumstances..which whilst there is some truth to that the fact is long before the injuries we were poor..

    Nzog apparantly 7-10 days so could make the Stoke game.Dunne around the 9th April ,Clark mid April along with Hutton.This is all according to the Physio room website

    He employed McLiesh I imagine on at least some part because he won a cup last season.Which was what about 8 matches to win.Maybe looking at the 38 games of failure in the league would have been a better measuring stick.Now you can point to 68 games where he has performed poorly as a league manager. He needs to asses what he wants from Aston Villa because right now the choices being made are very poor and IF we go down he only has himself and PF to blame.The fans warned him he chose to ignore them ..sometimes the fans are RIGHT !

    We should of only loaned him for 6 months then we could of recalled him.Loaning him out and getting in Jenas looks like a **** up of epic proportion Ireland aside there is no one experienced to play in midfield.

    We are in trouble as we can not defend for shit, the 2 corners today they scored was just awful defending.Man U away is a guaranteed 3 points for them so really we have 2 points on the other teams it's not going to be enough.

    We are **** ..the teams below us keep winning and we have Liverpool and Man U next away ..that 5 point gap is going to be gone.As bad as Mcliesh is with the injuries we have and Petrov's illness I doubt sacking him will save us now

    Heskey has to come off he has been hopeless ..though the rest are not much better.Anyone thinking we are safe from the drop is naive IMO.We won't get anything from this game or Chelsea,Man U and Liverpool save perhaps a draw.The Bolton game is the most important game of the season now.

    The changes helped them no doubt and N'zoni ,Olson and Houliett are all good players.Dunn as well on his day is very effective.The other issue we had was the CM herd and Petrov tired in the 2nd half and couldn't really get a grip of the ball

    I don't think we went defensive it was that we couldn't get hold of the ball in the 2nd half and the wide players were both awful.Albrighton should of been off far earlier than he was he did nothing of any good the whole match. Nzogbia is good when we are playing well but he stopped tracking back in the second half and lost the ball too much. Beyond relegation worries what is so frustrating is a few decent results and we would be far higher in the table.

    Well I am intersted to see the breakdown for that ...that woudl explain the cuts in players and Young and Downing sales with very little spent Thinking about it the loss's figure will include the purchase of Bent and Makoun but not the sales of Young and Downing.

    He is doing a shocking job and is quite clearly proving that even with better players with better facilities he is incapable of producing a team capable of playing decent football or winning games. Whats more I think he looks scared ..all this talk of being able to propser is bull is his scared shitless and its reflected in his tatics and the players attitude on the pitch.We play with fear and him being an ex Birmingham manager is clouding the media judgement.I simply can not belive he is not getting more of a ripping in the press for our performances and position in the league.

    Awful as per usual the best we played this season is with Ireland and NZG in the team and again he won't play them.
