I would say that in the 6 years Randy has owned Villa ,the wages for players has gone increased alot. Take for instance Dunne ,Ireland and Given all brought from Man City and 3 of our top earners simple because City paid out stupid wages and to get said players we had to match or in Givens case we lowered salary but gave him long term deal.This Sissoko is apparantly a top player ,I have never seen him play so can't comment but is he worth £75k a week for 5 years ? This is problem for the players in demand they and their agents are just waiting to be offered silly money I.E Remy at QPR.Problem with us is we are been so badly burnt by giving players high wages who were no use to use and we were/are unable to shift we don't want to go down that route again. That said with the price of failure ,relegation so high we might have to compromise on our stance somewhat

Makes the mind boggle.Wierdly I was reading Martin Samual in the DM today regarding his dislike of FFP small mention of him talking to Randy about it.Took some small comfort that he is still involved in person and not quite absent owner. I just wonder what the endgame is.IF we cant or wont put cash into club what is the long term agenda.Off the pitch we have improved but without on pitch improvements I fail to see how we will continue to attract sponsors like Genting. Right now short term action is needed ...because at this current path Randys opinion on FPP wont matter when he is an owner of a championship club.
