General, I'm happy to report that the reserve and youth team tables are now up and running on the official site as you promised. Thank you.

Reading and Arsenal have drawn tonight, that's good news for us. 4 points clear going into Mondays big game.

General, My apologies if I've got the wrong date, but I believe today is Randy's birthday. Please pass on our best wishes to him and the sincere hope that the team give him a big belated birthday present on Sunday. Oh, and if you don't mind me asking; what did you get him?

Chelsea away will now be on Monday 21st April, A full three weeks after the season was originally scheduled to finish. That's going to make it difficult (but not impossible) for us to celebrate winning the title against small heath at Villa Park.

General, I'm not sure whose decision it was to move all of the remaining reserve games to Villa Park, but give them a big pat on the back. It's a good move.

General, Six months into the season, and the sections on the Official Club website for the Reserve and Academy team still don't contain the league tables. The reserves section still doesn't include the result from the game against small heath played on the 3rd December. (We won 2-0) Given that we're enjoying great success with our reserves and youth teams and chasing an unprecedented treble of Reserve league, Academy league and FA Youth Cup I'd have thought we'd be shouting it from the rooftops. Who completes these sections and do they need any help? OBE

small heath beat Arsenal last night, largely taking them out of the title race. It could well be down to just us or Reading. The game scheduled for last night between us and Derby which was moved to tonight is listed on the Premiership site as being 4th February, listed on Derby County's site as being tonight and of course listed on our site as being last night. Our OS is awful.

General, Good to se the FA Youth Cup fifth round tie now being played on the date where the Blackburn game used to be, are you coming over that week? You're the youth cup lucky charm now! How about a free pint in the Holte for anyone that can prove they've flown into the country and originally had Blackburn tickets or some sort of added match-day experience? EDIT: LV inserted 'youth' in case anyone was surprised ;-)

Arsenal game moved to Villa Park on the 10th March. Good news and bodes well for the small heath game at the end of the season.

General, Congratulations to our youngsters on winning their way through to the FA Youth Cup fifth round. Do you know if this game might be played at Villa Park again? If so, with fixtures needing to be completed in the week ending 2nd February, would it be possible to play it on the 30th January; the date of the original Blackburn fixture? That way fans that had made plans and travelled long distances would still have the opportunity to see a game at Villa Park, maybe take in a tour and eat at the Holte Hotel. Okay it's not a Premiership game, but for fans who live abroad, at least it would give them a focus for their pilgrimage!

It's on the Barclays Premiership site, search for academy and then there's a weekly bulletin this is the most recent (the table is near the bottom) but it's slightly out of date as we've beaten Leicester since then.

That table is hard to find! There's a thread on the main board with reports and results for the academy side though.

Well that's true, but I don't like to think of us as a small print club. I think there are lessons to be learnt and I suspect next time we're in this situation we might get a bit more of a heads up. What do you say General, an avoidable situation?

General, One smaller note on changing the dates of games, we now have a first team game at Liverpool and a reserve team game at Derby scheduled to take place simultaneously on the 21st January. That makes it difficult to decide on the best way to use fringe players, it means the manager won't be able to see the reserves play and it places a deal of pressure on the clubs infrastructure in preparing two squads for travel at the same time. Is there a likelihood that the reserve game will be moved? OBE
