    I tend to agree. Nakamba makes plenty of his own mistakes, but they don't strike me as anything out of the ordinary for any player still adjusting to this league. Luiz, meanwhile, is not only adjusting, but often being asked to play a role I just don't believe he's capable of playing. At least, not yet.

    If the Pereiro interest is real, I wonder if the goal is to keep him in that role as a 10 and move Jack out to a wing.

    Gregg Evans wrote in The Athletic today that the club has no plans to make any record signings this month, so this is likely all Milan or Piatek's agent using us to get Spurs more active.

    I'm a Napoli fan as well. I don't believe the Callejon link is solid, but it would be a lot more likely now than in recent years. I love him, if he were to come to Villa I'd be thrilled. As for Llorente, he's certainly better than anybody we currently have, but he'd be a backup/sub option. Wouldn't want to count on him for 90 minutes.

    An Udinese player I like, but I can't see us after this month is Rolando Mandragora. He's the kind of defensive mid we could use right now.
