  1. Very Tired Bawssss.... One of my favourite sayings from a movie... Great actor and as a couple have said, his performance in the Green Mile was super...
  2. Sorry to hear that mate.. Fight it and you will be fine though.
  3. Yep, am out in Swords so am a northsider... Makes it handier to slip over to the airport for the early flights to Villa on a saturday though!!!
  4. Bought and moved into my first house on Tuesday. Brand new appliances starting to come in today and its brilliant... Feels completely different to moving into a rented apartment. Chuffed!
  5. Where has the news of Fletcher's fee agreed come from? Had a look at most sites including Twatter and nothing there....
  6. Word is that Villa are going after the FAI for compensation on Dunne's injury and subsequent treatment as they feel he wasn't looked after properly and cared for when he got injured during the Euro's. This could really screw the FAI over as they are completely smashed for cash at the moment.... Alot of it is to do with his retirement as well.
  7. I spent about €750 euro over there and a similiar amount to get me there. Pints were at most €2 a piece going down as low as €1 in some places and of course on match days we were drinking bottles which came to about 40c a piece.... It was a wino's heaven!!! Mortgage should be kicking off for me in about 2 months time so all in all it was great timing to get this trip in.... Alot of people over there in Poland had the similiar idea which was probably why it made itself into a great trip.
  8. In terms of affordability Poland was and will be far cheaper than France for a similiar length of time. Of course it will depend where the games are played and if teams are based in one city in France. If not, the travelling costs shoot up. We had a 5 hour drive between Gdansk and Poznan which is easy enough once you have a couple of drivers. I spent ~€1500 for the ten days which included flights, campervan, diesel, food, drink and spending money. We ate out every night as eating in the camper van would have got too messy. If you were to do a similiar trip in France it would cost you far more. In fact, we spent about 2 and a half days in Germany as we flew in and out of Frankfurt and it was there that we spent most of our spending money.... Would definitely recommend it though. I'm almost 29 so it's unlikely I'll get the chance to do it properly again. Unbelievable experience.
  9. Just back in work after a 10 day trip to the euro's. Worth every penny and would not have a bad word to say about the Polish. Some of the finest banter ever was had with them and they could not have been more friendly and hospitable. Unbelievable craic was had with all the fans and it was a pity about the results. We just did not have anything to stop Spain and Croatia - the two best footballing teams in the group without a doubt. The Italians were poor and if it wasn't for Givens mistake, we could have got at them in the 2nd half. We had them rattled just before Balotelli's goal went in, again another poorly conceded goal from our point of view. Definitely a tournament where we could have done better is the take away from it... Team Selections were a bit iffy and Trappatoni has to be questioned on some of the decisions. Starting Cox and even bringing him on was baffling... All in All a great holiday with some savage banter with the best fans in the world.... We didnt go for the piss up as the Prick Keane said, we just went to support the team and that we did in abundance.... We wont get another tournament like that for support for a long long time....
  10. Departing on Monday for Poland... Tickets to the Spain and Italy game in the bag. Should be an unbelievable trip with hopefullly some decent results to go with it.... Cannot wait!
  11. Im excited, but to see Richard this excited is extremely strange... Spill some of your news Rich!
  12. Why would Lerner fly back home if he didnt have his man though. Does not make sense. Points to an announcement next week to me. Ole is gone back to tie up a few loose ends in Norway and will be back next week. Very strange goings on though.
  13. Lambert will do for me. We need a man manager, someone in the mould of MON. Too many of our players have been getting away with bad performances since MON left and they dont seem to have any incentive to improve. Hopefully we get it all done quickly though. A manager in place within the next 10 days should be the priority so he can take a good look at the squad before the Euro's and try and improve the team before they come back for pre season....
  14. Already saw a ladyboy sobbing!!!! :-)
  15. Swansea are now key to the remainder of our season. Both Bolton and Blackburn have them next. Will need Swansea to win both so we have at last 2 teams still stuck down there.
  16. We are back in this relegation fight with a bang.
  17. **** me. This night has gone from bad to worse. United will only be crazy to beat us on Sunday as well now.
  18. **** me. This night has gone from bad to worse. United will only be crazy to beat us on Sunday as well now.
  19. I see they've pulled back the comments on twitter now.
  20. **** hell! Get well soon Stan. When is this season going to stop giving us bad news.
  21. Teams below us are winning games that you wouldnt have expected though. By the time we finish the next two games, we could be dragged back into it. None of our next 4 games look like giving us any points back. Won't be as easy as many people are thinking.
