    At only 23 years old, if he's a success at Villa and moves on, he'll be worth a lot more again. If he's not great (and I personally think he would do well here), he'll still have a good sell on price. He's big, strong, has a good touch and a he'll of a left foot. We may even get a few from corners, with him and Vlaar following Carew and Laursen in that mould.

    The folks on Twitter had no idea Vlaar was in B6 until his photo was taken at the ground, so why would they have any inkling on how much the transfer fee is?

    I would say that's pure guess work based on the fact that not one of these people mentioned anything about his visit to VP today, but now they're suddenly all over the transfer fee....? Actually, "guess work" is being polite.

    I believe until the work permit and visa situation are sorted, Makoun must be considered to be unemployable by Aston Villa, hence no mention by PL of him, nor any sight of him in the squad on the OS.

    See my situation was the same, but to be honest I really am not bothered and do not care that my parents elected to do it. You see this brings up the worrying bit, that unnecessary surgery for religious beliefs is considered acceptable and normal. It also allows children to be brought up into their religion without any real thought process. They then sleepwalk through their beliefs and pass them onto their kids, hence the wishy washy religious folk continuing these daft superstitons.

    A question Verb, as I'm genuinely interested, if I may? It would seem that you're a theist, yet you do not believe the Bible is the word of god. You also mention that you don't believe in the vast majority of Christianity. Just wondering what your 'version' for want of a better word, your impression of god is, why you believe in that particular god - as opposed to the gods in the Hindu faith for example - and what makes you believe in a god at all?
