  1. Another beast. The golden age of TEs, in my opinion.
  2. I love how we're ONE game in and already in meltdown mode. In the trenches with these Tight Ends. They're all so sketchy with injuries these days. They don't make 'em like Jason Witten anymore, literally playing with broken bones.
  3. That has to be up there with Buster Douglas beating Tyson.
  4. Out of morbid curiosity, I watched a bit of NFL Fantasy Live (or 'NFL Fantasy') on Sky Sports earlier and, if you ever get a chance to watch it, it's hilariously awful. They have music, non-stop, BLARING over the hosts - who themselves are cringe - but the music is so loud you can barely hear them anyway. I don't think I've ever seen a poorer show from a production/hosts standpoint.
  5. Can see Mahomes going off big style tonight. Just gotta hope they don't hook him early, with the damage already done.
  6. My size 14 clown feet have never had an issue with it I was thinking, perhaps, it's something to do with commentators never having played football regularly enough growing up, even at street level. The pros they have with them lose their minds too, though... It was no Callum Chambers outside of the foot pass against Southampton though!
  7. On the plus side, getting cover WRs can put up serviceable numbers! I think there's a particular week where I have a similar issue.
  8. I know this is football related, but people and commentators losing their minds over 'outside of the foot' passes/shots. I can't be the only person who finds this easy to do and, as such, not particularly impressive. I don't mean people saying how good it looked, becasuse often it does. What I mean is the hyperbolic fawning over the technique ("How've they managed that?/Unbelievable technique!") type of stuff.
  9. They're becoming more and more of a factor with the hybrid rushing QBs we have these days. I blame RG3... The only reason RBs go so early is the scarcity, otherwise they probably wouldn't.
  10. We lost against one of the best teams in the world, away from home, yesterday and, yeah, it was a hard watch, but it's not all doom and gloom: Still top half and above Man United, Chelsea, and Newcastle. Exciting european adventure ahead of us. All the cups still to play for. New players still being integrated into the setup and adapting to a new league. It takes time. We have a world class manager who'll work tirelessly (literally!) to calibrate it all - players, systems, opposition, fixture build up, etc. We're probably in the best long term position to push on we've ever found ourselves in. Heads up!
  11. Spectators today, and I'm not talking about the travelling fans.
  12. I've just noticed the draft grade write-ups are, where the AI can understand it, tailored to your team name. For example, mine includes 'forgetfulness' (a play on Amnesia) and Watership Brown's mentions 'rabbits'.
  13. That projected record is wild. Good job it's all nonsense.
  14. Brown Stuff vs. Lancs in the Villatalk-Bowl
  15. And now we await the inevitably inaccurate 'Draft grades'...
  16. Actually, looking at the league notes, it's never changed from 8 (aside from when I needed to switch it to 8:30pm for two minutes so I could make a change).
  17. Draft time was always set for 8pm, as in the original post ^ I think something might have happened with Yahoo at some point because the draft was all sorts of messed up when I went to fix the 'snaking' issue earlier; so I'm guessing it might have altered the time and the draft type at some point. Weird one, but it was always 8pm.
  18. All fixed. Thanks for flagging this up.
  19. As a superstitious person, I'd never allow that number to be used by a player in my team. I don't even allow it on FM. Accidentally gave it to a good player before and had to immediately release them
  20. All I'm saying is it's his job to grow the brand. Brand grows, revenue continues, FFP is satisfied. The Terrace View wouldn't have been his idea anyway as he only rocked up a short while ago. It takes ages (months/years) to plan and develop something like that, especially considering where it's situated. In fact, I'm not certain he's done much of anything yet, other than get the lion logo (the one where it's on its own) on some of our media. We'll likely see him make his mark next summer, with this season being a chance for him to observe how we're operating - as a club, and as fans - and to make plans accordingly. Nonetheless, back to Lenglet...
