    Would have taken a point before hand, so gotta be happy on that front but another lacklustre performance with negative substitutions leaves you slightly annoyed, yet they done the job clearly marked out by Lambert which was not to lose. 3 games unbeaten is a nice feeling for once, but we may regret not going for it more later in the season. Didnt think we'd pick up 4pts with that back 4 in Vlaar's absence, so credit to the kids

    Yeah Bannan must have been practicing because the ones he put in with whip and pace were more threatening than any other hes delivered this season.. just needs to be more consistant with them. Baker should have done better with the one he got on the end of

    Think we'll lose in all honesty. A win would be massive though. We played well there last year I remember, best peformance ive seen from Delph in a Villa shirt. They had a man sent off and then Dunne Dunne us with a customary 93rd min O.G.

    Arsenal were dreadful, good point on the whole. Very boring game but they should take some heart from it. Got to back it up with a win on Tuesday which will be a very tricky game. I think with Ireland and Bent restored we'll have the extra quality to make it count. Anxious to hear the extent of concretes' calf injury
