    This did cross my mind a few times. Although, you could argue we played our best stuff in the Autumn of 2020, with Shakespeare. We certainly seem more prone to long balls and cautious pragmatism. We’re not playing the kind of football Dean Smith made his career with.

    Something looks very off. The players look tense, like they’re all waiting for a colonoscopy or something.

    It’s the kind of goal you would otherwise shrug off, but in our predicament somehow feels awfully symptomatic.

    Not too confident in that midfield. It seems kind of obvious to me where our problem is. Luiz and Sanson being available would help. I’m not sure even that would be sufficient to get us where we want, but it would have made me feel a lot better about tonight’s match.

    @Chindie, mate, I don’t know if it helps at all, but I think you’re both smart, funny, and thoroughly good. In all honesty, without exaggeration, one of my absolute favourite VT contributers, and you have been for what must be over a decade now. If such a thing exists in the forumsphere, I consider you my friend. I hope that counts for something. It should, I think.
