  1. We're off on a preseason jolly on Friday aren't we? Hmmm.
  2. Make of that what you will. Someone's taking the piss. There is NO WAY that is legit. Its Defoe at the Estate Agents all over again.
  3. **** me, its like Rourke's Drift over there tonight.
  4. Still no pictures though Gareth....... chop chop.
  5. Do we have confirmation that Emma's breasts are that good or is this just pure specualtion? SkySports Sources "understand" that Emma's chesticles may be that good. Adrian Durham on talkSPORT is currently ranting that they are the worst pair he's ever seen and that it is crazy to think otherwise. Apparently there's rumours being tweeted all over titter as well.

  7. Brazier? Is it worse that this is what I thought he meant?
  8. I'll work on a picture, but in the meantime I can indeed provide a description: They glistened like glass orbs, as the sunlight from the meeting room window gently brushed over them. Heaving against the fabric of her low-cut pink top, their playful jiggling each time she lent forward elicited a sigh from yours truly. I could only imagine what tactile pleasures lied therein, some smooth and supple forbidden fruit nestled in the silken veil of her brazier.
  9. But which is better? There's only one way to find out... I'll get the goal posts, you kick the footballs.... :?
  10. Forgot your medicin today hey? Just a stab in the dark....but i going to guess he's taking the piss out of all the drama queen's!?!?! There is always a bite when you go fishing. Never mind Johnjohn, in the bucket there's a good chap - might let you back in the sea later.
  11. How dare Whelan try and get the best price he can for one of HIS players. Especially when he's just seen £20m slapped into our account from Liverpoo. What a word removed. I can't believe Randy, Faulkner and the General are even negotiating under such ridiculous circumstances. Whelan is playing hardball here isn't he. Oh and also why don't we piss all our money up the wall paying whatever the selling club asks without bothering to negotiate? Pathetic. Just spend spend spend Randy. THATS how you run a football club. FFS, RANDY, GENERAL AND FAULKNER OUT. MCLEISH OUT HERCULES THE LION OUT. Will the last person to leave Villa Park please turn out the lights.
  12. General, Thank you for this response. This is the first time I've seen anything like this from a board member of AVFC. Good to see some passion.
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he's not a winger is he? more of a less good Thierry Henry.
  14. Is it like Beetlejuice. Say "Colin rocket polisher" enough times and he manifests?
  15. That makes me go weak at the knees. I often have that effect on people.

  17. A player fails a medical or doesn't agree terms, for example. Then the money is refunded surely - yes the board have made mistakes, but they're not THAT stupid. Think it as a guarantee of exclusivity - we credit the money to your account. You bank the interest now. Only we get the right to talk to the player whilst you have our money. Deal goes belly up, we get the cash sum back, you keep the interest, deal goes through, consider yourselves already paid. Very clever - stops other clubs jumping in with more cash at the last minute. If Julie is correct....then it wouldn't be surely. I think this may be the exception rather than the rule.

  19. As with Ashley Young and Fabian Delph it would seem from reports that when we want a player... we make an offer to slap cash in the selling club's bank account immediately. The cash payment being refundable only if the deal falls through. In Bent's case I'd heard this cash payment was £10M!!.... the rest on instalments, as is the norm in football. However Gazton who is a little shall we say ITK posted that in Bent's case £5M of the £10M was NON Refundable... so even if Bent had failed medical or the deal had fallen through SAFC would have been £5M better off. No wonder they couldn't resist accepting the bid and letting him talk to us. Not sure if we did the same non refundable bit for Young or Delph but I defintely have heard big upfront payments were made. In the case of Downing I understand Boro actually turned down a sell on clause being inserted in the sale contract in favour of a bigger upfront cash payment. Probably a bit pig sick now!! If this truely is how we do business, can I just say... TRANSFER GENIUS Fudging awesome.
  20. murkeydepths - the gift that keeps on giving.
  21. Lets hope if he signs Shay can bring Jimmy back home as well.
  22. Dunne and Collins aren't shit. Its only just over 12 months since they were a major part of the 4th best defence in the league conceding 39 goals over a season. In fact apart from a freak result at Chelsea where we conceded 7 we only conceded 32 goals in the other 31 games which is excellent. Dunne, Collins, Cuellar, Young, Warnock, Clark are all very capable defenders and I am hopeful we can do well defensively this season which will at least give us a base to build from. I'm fining myself agreeing with Mark quite a lot recently - which is disturbing me greatly.
