I seriously believe this could be RL's last year as owner and that he is positioning the club for a sale. For some unknown reason there are plenty of billionaires out there who want to waste their money on buying premiership clubs but I feel that RL has concluded that it is all too rich for him. The next few weeks transfer activity and his attendances at VP next season will be very telling.

IF the claim that AM has said we will only make one more signing is true, do you feel your comments a while ago about Randy Lerner backing the manager and preferring Actions to Words now look very hollow? Is Randy Lerner lining the club up for sale? If so he had better do it before we are relegated!

Seems like your promise of action was just bullsh*t If Randy Lerner is no longer ambitious for Aston Villa can he please put the club on the market to see if someone else is?

Another twitter ITK bites the dust! This is why I did my best NOT to retweet his original tweet to Holt. I knew people would catch on, but unfortunately no one could find it so I had no choice but to press the button. I was trying to do it discreetly. I've feel bad now because it's ALL over twitter and this guy is being besieged! Julie He chose to send out the original tweet so I wouldn't feel sorry for him.

I will hang on to some hope at least Chris was just backing up what he'd heard independently and he is 100% reliable... .... the tweet I saw was from a Liverpool stockbroker to Oliver Holt because he'd had a phone call about Moyes going to Villa 3 yr deal. The tweet caught my eye earlier. Nothing confirmed but as Chris has just tweeted hold onto your hats because this could be a very interesting few days. Humble pie to be dished out at VP at the PC if this comes about.... But Julie Charliee1972 is a LFC Fan and could be on a wind up. Nothing about his previous tweets suggests any decent ITK

^^This^^ steaknchips mate, just because they are foreign and have had some success with the biggest clubs in their country, doesn't mean that they're gonna come here and suddenly turn us into Barcelona. Moyes and Hughes may not be as "exciting" but I'd like to see all these over-hyped, overrated foreigners do a good job with the smaller - medium teams in the Premier League as Moyes and Huges have done Agree totally! Agreed but all the signs are that Houllier will have to be pushed rather that go on the grounds of his health. Will be very interesting to see if Randy Lerner stands by him - my sense is that he will be pushed!!
