  1. He was watching from the stands in lower Trinity. Went away when Baker got injured but stayed closer to the end than most in the 2nd half. Had his son there too.
  2. We would have very happily taken 6 points from Pool - Wigan, so it will be job done if we do beat Wigan in what is now a hugely important game. It's frightening how easily we capitualted though. It could have been 8 again if they'd have scored in the first. However changing the tactics at when Baker went off (purely tactical, or did we not have enough defenders left?) and at HT looked like it really could have worked. That 10-15 minute spell was brief but encouraging. We don't look like we'll recover from going a goal down against a top or even half decent team though. McLeish what have shut up shop whereas as PL carries on attacking which is why we conceded so many in the last 2 games. Bennett looked decent both defensively and going forwards I thought. Did well to get the tackle in for the 2nd but it didn't quite fall to Clark and then Guzan could probably have got their before Bale if he hadn't hesistated. I even thought Delph looked pretty good. He at least had a desire to burst forwards. Also Ron Vlaar was watching in the stands in the lower Trinity.
  3. Who knows what's going to happen. We've shown enough this season that we could easily win or get rolled over. There's even a chance that we could draw. That's why I've not decided to have a pathetic attitude, giving it a miss and conceding defeat before a ball has been kicked.
  4. okay okay fair enough I was only exaggerating. We were well and truly deserved winners though.
  5. They only have 8 or 9 points in total so far, so yes it does seem unlikely that they can catch up that same amount of points.
  6. We played to our game plan and it worked. What's the problem with that? I don't believe that we have to have more possession to be the better team.
  7. That team is the strongest in the league and I wouldn't be surprised to see them put more past another team this season. Let's learn from our mistakes and move on. And let's strengthen in January.
  8. I'd be shocked and appalled if they DON'T pay up to the away fans.
  9. Don't let this result somehow affect your memory of last week. We played Liverpool off the park last week and thoroughly deserved a victory. Don't say that was luck just because we got annihilated today.
  10. I think that if we can score more goals than them, we'll have a chance of winning this one
  11. Come one, one of those injuries he gauged his shin open on an advertising board.
  12. Nah it's got 5-5 written all over it. Clark to get a hat-trick from corners.
  13. Might be able to put it up when I've finished downloading the full game video.
  14. It's a bit over the top to think he might have gone off "injured" as part of a cover up!
  15. I'd worry about beating Chelsea over 2 legs, but not the others (that's not to say I think we would beat Swansea say, but that we could/should).
  16. The match tonight is not on Sky so they probably won't do the draw tonight.
  17. Couldn't find any information about that when I looked earlier, so it may be after the Chelsea game (Weds 19th Dec, as they are at the Club World Cup) but hopefully it's tonight.
