When he goes, the money is not likely to be re-invested anyway is it? So thats why I would rather he stayed. However, i knew from the minute we signed him it was a stepping stone for him and he has done nothing to suggest otherwise. He wants to go so he will - im sure he helped force Genks hand into letting him come to us.

Watched him last week v Celtic in the nextgen series - my eyesight is not the best but im pretty sure he set up both of villas goals with good crosses. He played well first half but kinda fell out in the 2nd. Not too difficult to understand as he is still young and Celtic really upped their game second half. Although not on topic, our 2 centre-halfs were immense, Devine and an other. Very commanding and good to watch.

trouble is that 9 games in translates as more than a quarter of the season, what happens if the next 3 quarters generate as many points as this first quarter? 24 points and relegation. Definitely time to be worried, without over-reacting. And now we need to watch that wee dobbers irish grin as they beat us on Saturday.

If we cant sell him, he needs to be given a second chance. Lambert said his attitude was spot on. We cant have another Beye situation. I dont like Hutton as a player but we could scrape by with him until January.

I think the back line of Lichaj, Clark, Vlaar and Lowton looks very inexperienced and that worries me greatly. For that reason you have to bring Warnock into left back and, perhaps, start Lichaj at right back instead of Lowton. Would rather have started the season with Dunne and Vlaar being our centre-half pairing.
