I'm going with my Grandson and Great Grandson. Great Grandson is aged 7 - his first visit to Villa Park. I am taking him around the outside and then to the shop - to make sure that he remains a Villan lol. Can't wait to see his face, when the Holte gets into full voice. Hope there is no negative booing or chanting My prediction 2-0 Villa.

I remember Bruce Rioch wearing a lightweight plaster sleeve, after he was recovering from a broken arm - and he never fouled any player with it! Can't say the same about Baker if he wears one of these - looks fairly frightening to me

It may be because he is still game rusty but I felt he was a little selfish with his one surging run, late in the second half - he had an opportunity to pass the ball beffore he had it taken off him (or was he nervous of passing the ball to an ineffectual team mate and thought "I may as well have a go myself"?) Apart from that minor criticism, I thought he played well and showed a lot of strength and confidence.

You need players that can play defensive players with a defensive footballing brain. You can't coach rubbish.
