  1. Wouldn't you like it more if it was about Android though? Serious question. Wouldn't you like it more if there were other threads where you could go for help with questions about particular issues? Where you could find help with issues without looking through 400 pages? I think it would let this thread go back to just the fun stuff like when it started, rather than a general "help me with my phone" thread. (None of this is targeted at anyone, it's not about specific posts, just the general way the thread has developed.)
  2. Me? Yes it is a HTC. I'm not sure what problems with obtaining a PAC have to do with Android. It's the kind of question someone else might find useful in the future and now it's in a nearly 400 page thread. I think I need to lock this thread. There's no point in a tech forum if all the posts are in one thread.

    IP Cameras

They are pretty cheap direct TBH. Mine is the FI8918W.
  4. I'm pretty sure Windows creates a restore point before every update, but I know almost nothing about Windows.
  5. Have you tried another browser? and can you try backing out the windows update just to be sure that's what caused it?
  6. That's prudent. And also not locked in so you can't really lose. I'd recommend not porting your number until you've checked the coverage (unless you are already on o2 ofc).

I've got an (old) Foscam unit which has served it's purpose for quite a few years now. Wi-Fi, pan / tilt with sound in and out.
  8. Virgin are an MVNO on EE's network. My understanding of three is that they have their own BTS although some were co-located with the old one2one BTSs. Get a PAYG SIM and try it - it's the only way to be sure.
  9. Three and Virgin seem to offer the best deals at the moment.
  10. You haven't read it have you? It tells you that you need to include certain things in your post. It's written in bold red text just to make sure that you don't miss it What browser and OS are you using? Have you tried another browser? Have you tried clearing cookies and cache?
  11. "Personal use" is fine, according to Premier League rules: I'm not sure that publishing a photo on a busy public web site fits under any legal definition of "Personal use". And apparently, neither do the FA's solicitors.
  12. Is this season, the first time it has said that on them? No. I think it started with the Premier League. We've had take down notices in the past from the FA for pictures people have taken at games.
  13. It says "no photos" on the terms and conditions for match tickets at Villa Park.... In fact it says no cameras or recording equipment.
  14. Please read the post at the top of the forum with PLEASE READ THIS in its name and follow the advice in there.
  15. Wonder why they put Norwich in there? Wouldn't a comparison of the average price be more useful?
  16. You mean Celsius and Fahrenheit I think. Centigrade is any scale where there are specific measurements 100 units apart. Celsius is the name of a centigrade based on water's melting and boiling points.
  17. Please keep this thread for discussion of the takeover, not any passing topic that takes your interest. There are plenty of other threads where you can discuss the intricacies of FFP and if there isn't, start a new one.
  18. Wouldn't that mean he has to find £24 per month every month for 24 months rather than pay up front and just £13 per month which he could cancel at any time if he got into difficulties?
  19. Without using a deal site, virgin essential SIM at 13 per month with unlimited data, insurance on the EE network with no minimum term (you can route most of your voice and "texts" over data if you wish). That's £11 quid per month to pay for the handset. Pays back a £130 handset inside 12 months. Yours is a 24 month contract for a budget phone locked in for two years. As a student I'd rather have that money in my pocket to pay for beer. But then you have to pay for the entire handset up front? I'd rather it be spread out to be honest. Are you a student? When the OP gets his loan he'll be in a position to do this..

  21. Apologies if someone has already explained this in the thread. It's called Great Britain to distinguish from Lesser Britain, the area now known as Brittany. It's not a claim of "greatness".
