The Abrahmic religions are polytheist. Their God references the presence of other gods on many occasions. mainly in parts of the holy books where the story is lifted from earlier works. Their God clearly believed there were other gods. The Christian God is a triumvirate godhead, because the cult founders needed to try and explain things that weren't adequately covered in the Torah.

A quick Google shows that this happens with a lot of forums. It's being caused by an ad, but I don't know which. Without testers I can't fix this.

Meanwhile, use a different browser, or use the app. If you are desperate, consider donating for a month (which will remove all the ads). This isn't some fund raising drive, the site gets more revenue from you seeing the ads than it makes from a donation (and it still makes a loss).

When reporting I need to know what you are doing. The last few posts tell me it's something to do with iphones and windows phone, but not whether you are running the up to date VT app or which browser, or whether the issue is happening when you are using the mobile site or the full site or both. Whether it happens with different browsers. All the things asked for at the top of the forum in red ink. Still no offers to assist with testing. Therefore still nothing I can do. If I've got someone who can reproduce this who can assist with some testing then I can probably sort the issue out quickly. As it is, I can't make this happen on any of my devices so I can't tell whether my fixes are working.

"shut down quickly" won't help if it was malware. I have to ask, why does your big organisation filter out gambling but allow malicious web sites? Bizarre. Is puffin a different browser? If so this issue only seems to be affecting some iphone users using safari. I've still got no volunteers to help with testing. I don't own an iphone. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

Without people who can help test and with so few reports I don't think there is much I can do. Sorry. I have a very high level of trust in the two remaining ad partners. I'll try disabling the gambling affiliates, but if you can't trust the bookies web sites then they don't have much of a business model.
