Dark days are coming

I've seen some really bad things happen at Villa, in my time as a fan. Losses in league cups to lower league teams (Scunthorpe, Sheffield United) but I have never felt so deflated and depressed as I do at this moment. Don't get me wrong, Bradford deserve their massive achievement 100% and I wish them all the best for the final. But whilst this is their finest hour, this is also my clubs darkest hour and I am not sure we can pull this around in time to save our premiership status. It is

From Leicester to Leicester

      If not for the injuries… might have happened this season 😉 😜 🤣 Some excellent signings and I don’t see why we can’t challenge in the near future… obv a lot would have to go our way… but having Liverpool going through a transition and Chelsea’s continued slump… why rule it out…? We have blown City and Arsenal away this season… even with a depleted team… But… I prefer to be patient and realistic 😆

      Dragon Rouge have got an excellent reputation with some big organisations - they did PSG for example. I don't think they'll have found the controls on this project any more restrictive than on most things they do - just from more directions.

      Earlier poster either here or in another thread mentioned a great point that I'd love to see us implement.  If AVFC secure UCL wouldn't we be allowed to have the Star above the badge since we've won it before?  That would help solve some of the design issues with trying to cram it into our shield/badge etc etc. I'd like to see that frankly.  Could that be a reason for the delay in the new badge release?  Seeing if we secure UCL?  Food for thought...  UTV

      We've stopped announcing it in the second half, and figures now sometimes don't even appear in the next matchday programme. They appear to be carefully vetted under our new management.

      We declared 42,789 for the game against Manchester City - that's the official club figure. It suspiciously beat our previous high recent figure in 2009-10 by 1 person and is our highest attendance for at least the last fifteen years. The club 'declares' these figures, so sometimes the difference is what they do and don't include - I'm guessing if you want to set a little record, you include everyone but the linesmen. (Probably. I have a recent history of mistakes).

      They've had their fair share of injuries too. Enciso was out for ages, only just back. Started his 3rd game of the season.  Mitoma and March have been out a while now. March has played 7 games this season.  Webster has played 9 games.  Estupinan was out for a while too. All of these players are key players who would start most games if fit. There's just no consistency for them, only three players have started over 20 games.  Partly De Zerbi's fault too as he likes to rotate even without injuries, but some of the replacements just aren't good enough.
