yeah, ill admit it, im sure most on here wont, but i will, i have the fear of losing against them, is that so wrong? we all saw what happened last time, and it lasted for 2 years, and as paul says, i too, prefer the quite life, than having to listen to those inbred neandertholic morons gobbing off about this or that, yes we need another bham team in the prem, so bring on albion!

I dont think we´ll be as humiliated with Lerner and MON as we´ve been with Ellis and DOL...

We have a better team now...and the best of it all...we have a better club and a better manager than the last time around!

I agree that if we could choose then I would choose West Bromwich Albions and Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of Birmingham City to join us in Premier! WBA is a team I even can say that I admire...ever since that team they had that played a historical game against a very good Man U team and they won it 5-3 in 1978 I think...and what a team they had then. (sorry)

This game is still the most popular game in Sweden when we have made surveys about "The best game seen on Tipsextra" (Swedish TV program that covered english football for ages).

sha are like one of the unwelcome guests that come to your house once in a while.

When they are there, it really is extremely unpleasant and it takes a while to recover from it. When you realise they aren't coming back for a while, yuo can clean the place properly.

So the answer is no. Don't care about the derbies, we have bigger fish to fry.

Never mind them coming up, I would take great pleasure in seeing them 'do a Leeds'. Porn Drawf to sell up, maybe to Magnusson once he has f**ked up West ham. Then slip down the league a relegation every 2 years with the year inbetween just avoiding relegation.

Should take about 6 years to get to the conference

No way.

I want them to go down further back where they belong. I'd like Wolves & Albion to come up though. Be nice to have some derbies just not against them, they're scum as is everything about them.

I despise them, the majority of their fans, their owners, their players, their manager and especially Karen Brady.

 No no no no no no stay down & they can rot in hell for all I care. There's only 1 team In Birmingham (well 2 if you include Villa reserves) & the further down bloose fall the better. I wonder how many people who want them back up, actually come from the Brum area & have to work with the bastards.

No prob's with Albion & Wolves or any other midland club.

Dont want em up.Hate em and get sick of listening to the noses goin on about how they beat us last time they came up. I like the idea of them doing a leeds too. I cant stand the derbys with em. they make me ill for days and going to work and seeing the noses after they beat us nearly killed me. last season was good though and seeing em go down was the best.

When they came up last time I'd really missed the derbies. I looked forward to them and hoped they'd become a regular occurence again. The ridiculous manner of their gloating, so disproportionate to their "achievement" and their actual place in the scheme of things, however, meant that I took GREAT delight in their relegation last year and our little hand in it...IMMENSE PLEASURE!

Would kinda like to hand them a few beatings as we climb our way back up the football pecking order but, to be honest, I'd rather have the Baggies back up.

1) We need more Midlands teams in the premiership (and less london teams).

2) Local derby games raise the profile of the club across the rest of the UK.

3) Local derby games will increase our attendance.

4) How good would it be if the premiership had Villa, Blues, Wolves, WBA, Coventry.

5) More local away matches... less travel costs.

6) Derby games raises the profile of Birmingham & the Midlands.

7) Good banter between the fans of the teams around match days.

ive had some great banter with baggies fans but the noses that i have come across have been arrogant and aggressive idiots. many were saying last season that beating us was more important than staying in the prem. Well they could not manage either and deserved to go down and the lower the better for me. Any of the others can come up. not them.

I think pretty much all local villa fans will agree its better that there in the Prem...

The banter in the weeks leading up to the game is immense, and plus if there in the prem and struggling we can sing "now your gunner believe us! the shit are going down" which was by far the best song of the season last year - in the 4-0 against everton we must of sang it for 20 mins straight.

I'd like to see them and the baggies come up, there's at least 2 London clubs going down and the Midlands is under represented in the top flight. The derby hoo doo has been put to bed now and we could do with 12 more points at the end of next season when we're trying to get into Europe. :winkold:

I've got to agree with that. I'd much rather have some more Midlands teams in the top flight, even if I don't want them to be very successful. The best way to get international attention on our region is to have some Midlands teams in the top flight. To that end, I actively hope that Albion and Wolves make it up, wouldn't mind Blues too much (as long as we beat them…) and would even welcome my current home town Stoke.

Keep them down. When they came up last time, their fans were just a pain in the arse. They have delusions of being a big club. I just find them immensely tiresome. If our paths never cross again , it will be too soon.

Which is a good reason for wanting them to stay down....... how about 20 minutes of Villa related songs?
