smetrov
I seem to remember that we were promised that these would return to both sides of the North Stand this summer ? - hasn't happened ....or did I imagine it ?
limpid Posted September 11, 2012 Administrator Share Posted September 11, 2012 There are screens on both sides of the North Stand. A colour TV one to the right (from the Holte) and a scoreboard to the left.

rjw63
Two video screens and a scoreboard type thing - isn't that enough?
Danwichmann
If you want to watch football on a screen so badly, just stay home? I'm pretty sure the returning screen meant having one at each end of the ground, not one either side of the North Stand, which would seem pretty pointless. fightoffyour Posted September 11, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted September 11, 2012 I'm pretty sure the returning screen meant having one at each end of the ground This. The one between the North Stand and Doug Ellis had been gone for a few years, now it's back, so there are 2 big screens. You can now see a screen from anywhere, so that is all that is needed. whitsend
They both seem to be a lot smaller than they use to be. But then that could just be my eyes going for errrrr.... reasons unknown.
hogso
You can now see a screen from anywhere, so that is all that is needed. Kind of incorrect. The screen in the corner of Doug/North is angled in such a way that it is impossible to see it from C9/C8/C7/C6 - the blocks opposite the away end. It's also very hard to see the screen in the corner of Trinity/Holte from that area of the ground during a match.

Yes you are quite correct - I got confused - probably because I have moved seat !! - last season there was only one ...now there are two.
