Cliffy Biro
For an alpha this is pretty fun, had an axe first within 5 minutes though, not cool!

Kwan
Worth buying even if it's in Alpha?

Cliffy Biro
Worth buying even if it's in Alpha? If you like the game and recognise that you are buying a game that is currently an alpha then yes absolutely. I know that sounds stupid but you'd be amazed at how many people buy an alpha and then complain about stuff you'd expect in an alpha or even a beta. villa89
I know that sounds stupid but you'd be amazed at how many people buy an alpha and then complain about stuff you'd expect in an alpha or even a beta. This. It's baffling how often you read gripes about a beta release of a game. I read people complaining about ping times to the TitanFall open beta. If you don't understand what beta code is then don't play a beta game.
hogso
I wonder if it has anything to do with minecraft, which was a stable, enjoyable, and very playable game during alpha?
Cliffy Biro
So is dayz to be fair, it just lacks the features at the moment, genuinely not had any issues with it since i bought it.
Czechlad
It is my birthday today and my roommate is offering to buy this game for me and himself. Can I get an honest opinion on it? I've seen a lot of youtubers playing it and it seemed like it could be fun.
tomaspg
Its awesome, but as other say, still an alpha so expect some bugs, glitches etc. Even if i have t noticed that many and i play it fairly regularly.

I think there's a difference between games that are in active development and allow early access, like DayZ, anmd something like Titanfall which opened the doors just a few weeks before release. It's not a beta, it's the modern equivalent of a demo.
