chappy Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 link Tickets for Villa's away clash at Carling Cup winners Liverpool are today on sale. They are available to season card holders who have attended three Barclays Premier League away fixtures this season. The game takes place at Anfield on Saturday April 7, with a 3pm kick-off. We have an initial allocation of 1,900 and tickets are £48 for adults, £36 for O65s, £15 for U16s. It should be a cracking clash with the Reds, who beat Cardiff at Wembley in the showpiece final yesterday. What are the prices like at Anfield normally? Wanted to go to this but it's really steep.
blandy Posted February 27, 2012 Moderator Posted February 27, 2012 They used to be tolerable, but the past couple of years, they've really become ridiculous.
wedge Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Ridiculous, fair play to anyone that pays £48 to watch us get stuffed.

micflair Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I dont remember them being this high, its a disgrace!! Is 48quid what they charge for home fans? Gonna have to give this one a miss at sub 50quid just to get through the door.. EDIT: Just checked, last season was 41quid.
JamesWithe Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Ridiculous, fair play to anyone that pays £48 to watch us get stuffed. I disagree. As long as people pay these prices these clubs will continue to rip fans off. Fans should all join together and refuse to pay for this one.
micflair Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I certainly refuse to pay that, I was 100% on this, but that is just a piss take.

LincsVilla Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Same as you Mick, i was going to go, but absolutely refuse to pay £48.
ooh_aah_paul_mcgrath Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 We are £48 cos Liverpool have made us a "GRADE A" fixture... God knows why as we were only a "GRADE B" last year. Think we will do well to sell the initial allocation, which is a shame as its normally a good away trip. Their prices have gone up a bit this year...and yes Micflair, they are charging their fans the same price.
micflair Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Damn right they have gone up, would have considered it a lot more if we had any kind of chance and with someone decent in charge who had some positivity. And secondly, how the hell are we a grade A game for Liverpool?!
caw2510 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 i was planning to go but at £48 before travel i think i will have to go man utd instead will cost me £48 all together
CI Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 £48 disgraceful ManUre is £39 which is a piss take too
chappy Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 ManUre is £39 which is a piss take too To be fair we are charging Sunderland £40

hogso Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Against my better judgement I've bought my ticket for this one today. I've never seen Villa play at Anfield, and I love the city so any excuse to spend a bit of time up there...despite the fact I won't have any money to spend as it's all gone on the ticket&travel v___v

Oh hang on..
