I do think they should have had the same ending for everyone though. All in all it's probably the best trilogy I've ever played. 1 was outstanding, 2 was near perfect and 3 was great too. kidlewis Posted January 30, 2015 Share Posted January 30, 2015 The ending of the first game I was stunned it was so good. Great end song too by The Faunts. The story, the ideas of the cyclic way the universe is "cleansed". Just a great piece of story writing. I will keep an eye out what the writers have done since. I felt gutted after it though. No sci fi game has had a better story as a trilogy for me. Halo had arguably an easier combat system but ME was great for tactics.
