2) Defend yourself at all times. Mosley **** up

3) Pacquiao is ducking blood tests.

You're allowed to hold on to your opponents arms? Don't think so.

Fighters hold on all the time, arm or any other body part. Bayless didn't say shit about it and neither did Mosley.

^Problem is that the level of drug testing now is a farce

Quality, and 100% correct, Roy Jones would have slaughtered the Slappy one anytime up to 2003 8)

Another forum raid going on on ESB, they're picking on fat women now, great sport

I know forum raids are old news.....but they're still funny as ****

That muslim one was an all time classic, haven't laughed so much for ages :crylaugh:

I got pissed a few months ago and did a one man raid on an anorexics forum, I got banned pretty quickly though - I tried to claim I'd lost 3 stone by doing nothing but eating kebabs and wanking 10 times a day.

Obviously made up that was, I don't like kebabs.

Since when was there fatty forums anyway? They're just begging for it.

Just looked at the muslim forum, no one is biting on it. It's just lads from ESB. This could liven things up if he posts it though.

Get off of my forum you knob :x

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has budged. The Filipino champion is now willing to agree to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s previous cut-off date for a random Olympic-style drug testing protocol. Earlier this year, the two sides failed to reach an agreement for a March mega-fight. The issue of random drug testing was the root cause for the failed negotiations.

The two fighters were unable to agree on the cut-off date for the blood tests. Mayweather wanted a 14-day cut-off on the tests, while Pacquiao wanted the random drug testing protocol to end 24-days before the fight. Now Pacquiao is willing to meet Mayweather's number.

"I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport. For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as, my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test," Pacquiao said in a statement on his official website, mpboxing.com .

"I do not want anyone having an unfair advantage where someone may get hurt. I am willing to do my part to help this sport out."

Pacquiao has not yet watched Mayweather's domination of Shane Mosley, but plans to watch the fight very soon. He also agreed to take a blood test immediately after the fight was over. Nothing is set in stone. The next time the two fighters meet at the negotiating table, Mayweather might issue a demand for a smaller cut-off date or he might even make a demand for the testing to continue until the fight.

Pound-for-pound king and “Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao has vehemently denied a report filed by a certain Timothy James on one of the Pacquiao websites claiming that he had agreed to Floyd Mayweather Jr’s demand for a 14 day cut-off for random blood tests for a fight to push through.

BoxingScene.com contacted Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz about the report and asked him to double-check with Pacquiao.

Koncz got back to us a short while after he spoke to Pacquiao at his residence and said Pacquiao categorically stated "he never spoke to any reporter and never heard of the guy” who filed the story, even as he maintained that he had no official website although there are people who claim that they handle his "official site" [mpboxing.com].

Koncz quoted Pacquiao as saying he “never talked to anybody about boxing and his main concern is campaigning and winning the election on May 10. (Floyd) Mayweather is not even in our minds or in our thoughts."

However, Koncz quoted Pacquiao as saying "we’ll fight Mayweather or any other fighter anytime, any place under the rules and regulations of the Commission of the state where the fight takes place.”

The story alleged that the reporter spoke to Pacquiao in his home in General Santos City and that he had made an official statement for his website at 2:30 a.m. on May 3.

The statement quoted Pacquiao as saying “I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport. For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as, my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test. I do not want anyone having an unfair advantage where someone may get hurt. I am willing to do my part to help this sport out.”

Manny Pacquiao was also alleged to have stated that he is willing to take blood immediately after the fight in his locker room "No problem." Manny just does not want to take blood right before the fight, as he feels that may hurt the fighter, if not physically, maybe mentally.

Shocker.

From the front page of ESB:

Scott O. (Brooklyn, NYC): Is it true that Joe Calzaghe is closer to a return to the ring?

Vivek W. (ESB): It was confirmed by Goldenboy promotions CEO Richard Schaffer that Joe Calzaghe has in-fact expressed interest in a rematch with Bernard Hopkins. What was unclear but seems most likely is that due to the fact that Calzaghe never did a sort of 'homeland swansong', such a rematch (if it does actually take place) will happen across the pond in front of Calzaghe's countrymen. Hopkins has very little left to fight for aside from this second bout of redemption and Calzaghe has no more credible opponent to face, considering that he isn't expected to hunt down a young lion like Chad Dawson, and there were questions (albeit minimal) about the Hopkins fight, considering that it was a split decision, as well.

Hopkins realizes that there is no bigger money potential out there against anyone and would be willing to travel to make this happen. That makes this a VERY EASY fight to make and all indications say that by early Fall, (September/October time frame to be exact), this bout will actually move forward. Considering Calzaghe's drinking habits and recently acknowledged drug habits, this fight could come with a major risk, as Hopkins would undoubtedly let it all hang out because there's literally nothing for him to lose and practically everything in the world for him to gain. His highly relished role of the underdog would be in full effect. That's where he's most dangerous. Stay tuned.

I hope Hopkins gives him a disgusting, Pavlik style beatdown

RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIF. – World Boxing Association interim super lightweight champion MARCOS "El Pollo" MAIDANA pulled out of his fight against undefeated World Boxing Organization junior welterweight champion TIMOTHY “Desert Storm” BRADLEY today. The public news conference scheduled for Tuesday, May 4 at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif. is canceled.

Gary Shaw, who co-promotes Bradley with Thompson Boxing Promotions, received a call from Eric Gomez, Vice President/Matchmaker of Golden Boy Promotions, Maidana's co-promoter, moments ago informing him that Maidana was pulling out of the fight.

"Eric told me Maidana missed his flight to the U.S. and later in the same conversation told me Maidana's back was still injured and that he would not be fighting Timmy on July 17," said Shaw. "Obviously Maidana's back was not getting any better and a call to us last week from Team Maidana would have been the professional thing to do. But HBO and Agua Caliente are standing behind Timmy and his July 17 date, and I expect to announce Timmy's new opponent soon."

Phil Cooper, executive director of marketing for Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa said the development is a disappointment: "Certainly this is not what we expected, however we're excited about what Gary has in the works.

Fight at 147 back on but for that date?

According to reputable sources (Pacquiao's official website, mpboxing.com) Manny Pacquiao, WBO welterweight champion, is considering accepting the cutoff request for random Olympic style blood test in order to fight Floyd Mayweather Junior.

A fight between the two superstars was all but done when, at the urging of Mayweather, the two sides could not agree on the test and it's cutoff date.

Mayweather held out for a 14-day cut-off on the tests, while Pacquiao was not willing to accept the random protocol unless the cutoff was no less than 24-days prior to the fight. Now Pacquiao is willing to meet Mayweather's number..

"I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport. For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as, my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test."

"I do not want anyone having an unfair advantage where someone may get hurt. I am willing to do my part to help this sport out."

Pacquiao, in a statement on Philstar.com, "If I hit Mayweather like that (second round against Mosley), I will finish him off."

I expect that the 14 day cutoff might not be possible now considering that Mosley agreed to the blood test up to the day of the fight. Still, anything is possible in boxing.

Manny Pacquiao promoter, Bob Arum, is refuting the statements concerning his willingness to take the Olympic style blood test. According to an official statement from Bob Arum, Manny Pacquiao quotes from yesterday were not genuine. Arum contends that Pacquiao is not willing to do any testing within a 24 day window froma fight date. Further, he refuses to bend from the originally agreed upon 50/50 purse split.

It should be noted that the statements were in fact on Manny Pacquiao's website though they are not there today. Just wanted to let you know.

I'll believe it when I see it.

He's already denied saying that. Arum has said it's either Margarito or Cotto (if he beats Foreman) at a 150 catchweight for another trinket belt

Who wants to see either of those two fights though?

Pacquiao just needs to stop ducking Mayweather and agree to the damn terms.

Bob Arum and Freddie Roach want to see them which is why they'll happen
