1 draw and 4 losses for Spurs in their last 5 games?

Maybe the running at a thousand miles an hour into every tackle thing doesn’t work as well beyond October when the opposition aren’t Dundee and Motherwell.

Behave yourself, Ange is the second coming. Football revolutionary.

"That's just the way we're gonna play"

What a man, what a character. Absolutely perfect fit for a club like Spurs...

Truth is, if he was the manager of a club who didn't have media smoke blown up their arse then he'd be slaughtered for the way they play. They're blowing out of their arses after an hour, and I get they've got injuries but their style is kamikaze and completely unsustainable.

Exactly.  I actually believe Emery gets us to use the exact amount of energy per game required to compete in it, so that we can roll on to the next one.  Ange just sprays his shorts every game and then loses as the erection fails

Ange is commendably straight forward in his manner and he plays football 'the right way', but the idea he was some revolutionary manager that was going to have Spurs kick on was always ridiculous. At the rate they've racked up injuries and suspensions they'll be burning through youth players soon - you just can't play like that in a league where the quality gap is closer than Scotland where any manager would expect to blow the league away with Celtic.

He got lots of plaudits for getting battered by Chelsea. This was bizarre, and his response was really problematic "We'd play this way if we only had 5 men". Sometimes you have to manage games better, and he doesn't do that.

They're incredibly easy to play against second half.
