dont_do_it_doug. Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 ................Guzan................ Bacuna.... Richards....Clark.... Amavi ...........Sanchez....Gana........... Adama.............Gil............Grealish .................Sinclair.............. Bit harsh on Westwood maybe but nice to have options. Gil and Grealish's positions are interchangeable obviously. Too "gung-ho"? 2
BOF Posted August 25, 2015 Moderator Posted August 25, 2015 Not gung ho enough, in so far as there's no recognised striker. In that sense I can't see it happening. Obviously there's no chance of Westy being dropped either. You're cray cray.

Guest Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I wouldn't have Sinclair as the lone striker, the rest looks good though - and also, Sinclair needs to be in there, so not sure who drops.
UGC Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I'd now start Guzan Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Amavi Gana, Sanchez Adama, Gil, Grealish Gestede/Kozak/Ayew I think we have a strong exciting team especially the 3 behind the striker. We just need to find the right balance, today was way too attacking. In the premier league, we need to find the right balance between attack and defence. That's why I've gfone for Sanchez above Westwood or Veretout. Reckon for strikers we'll be fine with the 3 options and as long as Gabby doesn't get a sniff up top we'll be fine. I believe there is goals in all our striking options, its just about the service.

Stevo985 Posted August 25, 2015 VT Supporter Posted August 25, 2015 I wouldn't mind seeing Sanchez given an opportunity at Centreback after tonight... although it was against Notts County, so he may get found out against better opposition. Ayew isn't ready yet on tonight's evidence.

Richard Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Any closer to knowing the strongest 11? Too many players you want to see and not enough places? On the one hand it's refreshing we've not had this for a while, on the other could be an issue. For mr right now I think we need three more players -------------------------Goalkeeper Bacuna-------Richards-----------Centre back----------Amavi ----------------Veretout----------------Gana Traore---------------------Grealish------------------Sinclair -------------------------Centre Forward Would be my prefered 11 but with no starting place for Sanchez, Westwood, Gestede , Gil and Westwood but with them as the back up it is a strong bench.
BOF Posted August 26, 2015 Moderator Posted August 26, 2015 A right side of Bacuna and Traore. Jayzus. What makes that worse is the fact Amavi is so strong that nothing goes down his side. So the run-around twins on the other side would be inundated and over-worked while lacking discipline. Over the course of a season it would scare me frankly.

Hopefully Bacuna will improve defensively, he's still learning his trade as a full back, I have high hopes for him.
Danny_Villaman84 Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 I think we should play 3 formations these option we should use, and better out of our players style and ability to do it. 4-3-2-1 first choice for all match (play ground pass rather cross) ----------------------------Guzan--------------------- New RB-----Richards-----Lescott----Amavi (if not Lescott join us so Clark in and Hutton or Baunca in RB) -------Westwood--------Sanchez--------Gana-------------- -----------------------Gill------------Grealish-------------------- ----------------------------Sinchair--------------------------------- second one is 4-2-3-1 (this team is more attack) Attacker and striker mix regular - Ground pass rather cross ---------------------------Guzan--------------------- New RB------Richards-----Lescott----Amavi (if not Lescott join us so Clark in and Hutton or Baunca in RB) -----------------Veretout---------Gana-------------- (V see reason V) ------Adama-------------Gil---------------Grealish---- --------------------------Sinchair--------------------------- * Reason * i pick Veretout as he is more box to box that Westwood and Sanchez and I think Gana with Veretout is very good partner in centre midfield more balance cover each other would Swap Veretout for Westwood or Sanchez depend opponent team strenght on ie weak in midfield so play westwood if strong or combat so sanchez in. 3-4-3 Modern Football System --------------------------Guzan---------------------- --------Okores------Richards----Lescott------- (if not we dont sign Lescott join us so Clark in and Hutton or Baunca in RB) Adama-----Sanchez------Veretout---------Gil ---------------Grealish-----------Gana------------ ------------------------Sinchair------------------- Gil or Grealish, swap for left winger, or ... Veretout winger so Gana drop to centre midfield, Gil move to partner Grealish. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i really hope we sign lescott and right back as prority before closed. we need find better true all-round striker ie replace Benteke as might we need crossing in box if need and sinchair good pace and feet finisher... he is not header by trade.
