Hazel O'Connor - "Will You?" Best .Sax. Solo. Ever.

I saw your previous post and thought "Stranglers... pretty good taste again from Jezza.".

Then I saw Hazel O'Connor.

Sort yerself out man!

He's right about the sax, though - it's up there with Baker Street and Year of the Cat as good 70s pop (as opposed to jazz) sax solos.

Hmm. Maybe. But I'll be eyeing Jezza with suspicion from now on.

OK - how about "For What It's Worth" from Buffalo Springfield, leading into

"If I Were A Carpenter" (the Bobby Darin version),leading into

"Traveller's Tune" by Ocean Colour Scene, followed by

"Love Is The Law" from The Seahorses??

Eclectic enough for you, MrD?

Right, I need to get the advice of the VT music massive.

I'm after a track that I used to have way back in the day, on a pre-recorded cassette which I have long since lost.

Thing is, I don't remember the name of the album OR the band! They were an indie-type guitar band from the late 80s or possibly early 90s, and the song was called "The Way of All Flesh".

Google searches don't help, because there is a metal band called "The Way of All Flesh", which buggers up the search.

So, can we find it?
