skarroki
What with the international friendly coming up, and the end of the transfer window, now seems the perfect time for the newspaper columnists to start going on about how there are less and less players from England in the division and teams aren't giving young players a chance, shipped out to the lower divisions, blah blah blah heard it all before It basically got me thinking, if every team was forced to field a team of players all from the UK, who would have the best team as it stands? Obviously teams like Arsenal now, when all fully fit, strike me as a team with a lot of English players that would have a good XI but looking further into it, they'd be fielding a very inexperienced back 4 + keeper "home grown" doesn't count as they aren't from the UK (Fabregas, Clark, etc) but players like Eric Dier would count as they have elected to play for England My Villa XI would be: Steer Hutton Lowton Baker Richardson Westwood Cleverly Delph Cole Agbonlahor Bent Best I could come up with! Who would be the best and who would be the worst in the Prem?

skarroki
Actually, Clark is from the UK and did play for England at youth level, he's just a plastic paddy. I suppose I just badly described it. I just meant every team fielding an XI of players that would potentially play for a UK international team. So Clark wouldn't fit as he has played for ROI but you could play a Grealish or Dier because they haven't elected a country yet but could choose England
