  1. Good result, I think the best most of couldve hoped for before the match was a point, we've put in a good performance and shown alot of heart today. Let's hope we carry it into the Sunderland game!
  2. Villa-Ultra if you're in Coventry with family that would be a really weird coincidence...? As chappy says, ring the ticket office ASAP, the online ticketing site is not known for it's reliability... Would love to say that's helpful but...ticket office is closed till 11am on monday :winkold: I got in contact with my local Lions Club chairman, he can't check till monday either but is going to see if he can get any from the Supporters Club's allocation Still no news on the OS if they are all gone or not though! Although I suppose we have to afford the office dolly's some time off...
  3. Are they sold out? The site isn't clear at all... My cousin has just let me know that his wife's family are over from Oz, they're Villa fans and would love to go, I can select an area in the ticket section on the site, but not a quantity, and therefore can't order any. I'm guessing they're all gone?
  4. Enter the Void. Best film of the last decade, let alone 2010, no other film comes close to the experience it delivers to the viewer.
  5. Yeh Frontiers is a pretty good shout, although it is the French Chainsaw Massacre, and is therefore very predictable if you have seen Texas. And just in case you havent seen it; Alien? One of my all time favourites, and I can't think of any better survival horror film at the moment
  6. Oh Battle Royale **** yes, just got the 2 disc blu ray, it's a great set
  7. Slasher movies ok? If so 2 great frenchies - Haute Tension (Switchblade Romance) and l'Interieur (Inside). Otherwise, The Mist and Cube...and apart from that only the obvious Zombie movies come mind
  8. No trains at all through New Street today, don't know about buses though, I assume they're running normal sunday times ?
  9. Yeh, it's practically exactly what you'd expect. The whole thing is basically a lazy metaphor for how the Serbian government is raping the population, from the very second they're born - hence the films most infamous scene. I just didn't find the idea engaging at all. Compared to some of it's peers, like Salo, it's a pretty poor.

  11. I have honestly no idea. Didn't take anything away from my enjoyment of the film though, I thought it was wonderful. As for Black Swan, I know it's UK cinema release isn't til Jan, but I will have forgotten about it by this time next year so it counts as this year right
  12. Oh was it? I bought the DVD and watched it for the first time this year, but I imagine it mustve had a limited cinema release in 2009? In that case I guess I'd stick Inception in at 5
  13. 1 - Enter the Void 2 - Catfish 3 - Das Weisse Band 4 - Toy Story 3 5 - Black Swan Been some crackers this year, Enter the Void is in my opinion the best film of the 21st century thus far. So glad I made the effort to see it at the cinema during it's limited run. Catfish and Black Swan are two films I've seen only very recently, in the last couple of weeks in fact, but they were both fantastic and very very memorable
  14. Is this the Aliens RPG? Or is that the one that was scrapped?
  15. And you should too, it is a fantastic movie. Although I'm very biased as I love literally all of Haneke's work - although that's not particularly difficult as he is, in my eyes, the very best director active in world cinema at the moment
  16. I'll be getting this, and am pleased their using a completly new engine, but am somewhat torn about some of the other issues with the game. It'd be great if they fixed the facial animation and employed 100 voice actors instead of 5 but...there was just something about a beggar in the Imperial City asking you if you could spare a coin in a really crone-y old voice...and then replying in perfect RP when you did so
  17. Gutted. Watch them get Ipswich with the 2nd leg at home now...
  18. Things I learnt/were re-affirmed to me about Clark after seeing hiim yesterday; - Comfortable on the ball - Good touch and control - Can flick the ball on well - A presence in the box - not massively, but with some bulking up, hitting the weights in the summer, he could be - He's got a shot on him Taking these things into consideration; play him up top as the target man GH! I am afraid to say I've had enough of Carew

Good card tonight/this morning, looking forward to seeing Phil Davis on the main card. And here's the card for 125, first including the WEC roster Stacked! I think MTB and Vera/Silva should be on the main card, but if this is the kind of thing we can expect (at least on paper anyway) 122 will have been the last non-event ever
  20. Is it really as bad as I've heard? I mean, it doesn't look that bad, and I usually enjoy sci-fi...
  21. Ha ha ha, a 50/50 chance game. Disgrace!!! ha ha I agree, our decision making when it comes to the toss has gone down the pan since Petrov got injured, sort it out Gerard!! Anyone know of any decent players with good coin toss guessing skills available in Jan?
  22. Was wondering if they are VT'ers? Or if anyone knows them? Couple of young lads, probably late teens ran onto the pitch from the front row of C7 after the 3rd goal, as the players ran to towards the bench. They joined in with the celebrations and were promptly ejected. Looks like they enjoyed it though, I suppose. I saw them at half time go up the stairs from the 'Press Lounge' door inside - one of the ones with a keypad that is never locked. Didn't think much of it at the time, but now it looks like they were after a little mischief. Got the impression they usually sit elsewhere in the ground, and probably got tickets on different client reference numbers, so when they're barred they can go elsewhere in the ground - I'm presumed it'd be that easy anyway. Further to that - anyone have any news on the now infamous Lower Doug Ellis Guy who diving header'd the ball against Blues?
  23. I've seen both, and the only differences really are that the horror elements (and by that I mostly mean the juice) has been upped a tad, other than that they are the same - but I would still recommend it to fans of the original as the 2 kids are fantastic.
  24. Chris Kamara - "He's only the size of a midget" hahaha
