    He's been one of our best players for 18 months under Emery when everyone thought he was finished as a mid-table Premier League footballer. He's been nothing short of unbelievable for a sustained period considering we all though his ceiling was exactly that. He's been so so consistently good.

    Obviously not good enough from him but I just don't really see the point of the social media pile-on tbh. He's been alright this season overall and we are comparing him to the best keeper in the world. It's just not worth it. Admittedly second and fourth goal today he was not great though.

    If we get the first goal in Greece, I think they will sh*t themselves. We are the better team and with Torres-Konsa-Martinez we can beat them. We were very dangerous tonight imo but were on an off-day, not helped by the referee. Confident we can turn this around. UTFV

    I'd take Tiago Santos at right-back just so we never have to play him again. On a serious note, he fits the profile of the right-back we would be looking for. I expect Cash to leave or become a back-up player, and for the position to alternate between Konsa (more defensive) and a more attack-minded player such as Santos, who is only 21.

    Absolutely colossal as the game wore on. Just love watching the guy play. He is one of the best defenders I've ever seen at the club, genuinely.

    Zaniolo's held it quite well and done well defensively. Little questionable decision-making but in this sort of game he's been fine.

    Honestly, Watkins was in SO much space there. Was expecting us to just roll it to him.

    It's literally his job to take risks in defence and we're playing one of the best pressing teams ever. We're gonna make mistakes. He's been very good defensively.
