Pros Bargain at £1.5m Experienced Will help the youngsters along nicely and has been skipper for Norwich before. Clever player, works into space well and will create chances for the team. Should get us passing the ball along the floor from mid to striker more, means less hoofball!!!!!! (IMPORTANT) Scores and assists goals. Cons None in my eyes... Le go paul... bring him in and move onto Rincon or Defour, Wells and a new Center half on loan... Would sort us for this season!

Sounds like an on form Wiemann. Maybe lambert should consentrate on getting him 100% too. He could save a fortune if we get them all playing like they did end of last season. But I tell ya what lets give up and just replace them. I suppose but maybe Weimann can then be played as a central striker... his best aspect is his finishing but he gets pushed out wide =/ Have you watched Weimann play lately ? - If you have I really don't see how you can his best aspect is his finishing - Every shot he has is a least 4 ft wide of either post or 4ft over the bar.....and those measurements are being very kind. Whether you are played wide or not - shouldn't affect your ability to hit the target when a reasonable chance presents itself. I don't mean that as my opinion.... Just what we kept getting told by Bent lol ???? Not sure I understand - you posted that Weimans best aspect was his finishing ? - Now your saying that isn't your opinion - But that of players who left us in August ? ....#confused Bent gave an interview a while ago about how Weimann was the "best finisher" at the club, that's where I was formulating my point... I don't think weimann's a great finisher... he rushes himself far to much to be composed enough...

I reckon he could go straight in the first team the way our players look like they are running through treacle. Indeed, he's truly a pace machine, good with the ball at his feet and most importantly... runs into space... Benteke with Wells and Agbonlahor either side.... 0.0 Would be VERY dirty for counter attacking... just need that number to unlock the door at home... Wesley??? Where art thou mister hoola-hoop?

He'd do a job for the team and offer us something we don't have.. A true attacking midfielder with a bit of imagination and creativity! Yes he's 32.... We need experience, lambert has worked with him before so they will know how each other works.... I say for £1.5m go for it

THIS! Unleash him and Benteke together v arsenal, what can go wrong? It's not as if we can say we'd expect to beat the league leaders... We could give them a good match and try to win... End of the day it's a no loss situation if we play Helenius against Arsenal... even Donacien should get a shot... he's got to be better than the idiots we have as 3rd and 4th choice...

Really hope we get a ball playing attacking mid, someone like hoolahan would bring the ball out of midfield and make things happen... Come on villa!!!! Can't be losing to these lot!!

Goodness, Defour looks half decent, i wonder who first choice is.. Someone cheaper I'd imagine. Maybe, but price clearly isn't the issue for him personally or he wouldn't even be in a list of targets. Whoever is his main target, he must believe he is better than Defour. Interesting in my opinion. Kiyotake? Should be cheaper and Nurnberg are in a lot of danger atm... If we are going for Kiyotake then I suspect the deal would be done pretty quick. I'm sure if Nurnberg are going to let him go, they will want time to spend some of the cash to strengthen their side, giving their position. Indeed, well we do need an attacking mid.... quick so helps all parties out! On a substitute for Kozak... maybe Piotr Parzyszek who we where linked to recently... 16 in 19 this season for De Graafschaap (Holland second division)... Would be cheap apparently! We do need a CB too though maybe Pontus Jansson?? Would rather another experienced CB tbh!
