  1. Very happy with the business done so far but IMO we still need an experience keeper, another CB (more so if Richards goes to WHU) and a couple of decent midfielders. Still got two loans to come?
  2. Me to! When he's not on the treatment table he's a cracking player.
  3. After years of austerity I'm just excited we've got an owner willing to invest heavily in the squad again.
  4. True, however it just really leaves us with Richards as cover, and he's way worse than those two ever were.
  5. Any links to a new CB? Now Lescott and Okore have gone we're desperately short in that area.
  6. We had a few 'Prince Albert's' in the squad last season...
  7. I still think Ayew's off. Maybe waiting for his replacement to come in first?
  8. Just give Hull the £14m they want for Hernandez FFS. Can't stand Ayew anymore.
  9. Next time he looks in the mirror he should elbow himself in the face!
  10. GK, CB, 2 CM, ST PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Just 1 point off relegation and 8 off top spot after 5 games is extremely poor. Still can't win away from home either FFS!!
  11. Desperately need some midfield creativity. Really hope we're looking at other options.

Ross McCormack and Rudy Gestede may be proven performers at this level, but Roberto Di Matteo remains keen to add to his firepower before the transfer window closes. NAHKI WELLS According to reports in the Daily Express, Huddersfield Town striker Nahki Wells is a target for the West Midlands outfit. This is hardly surprising given the 26-year-old’s excellent record in the second-tier, with the lively frontman scoring at a rate of better than a goal every three games Huddersfield currently find themselves top of the Championship table, but the Yorkshire outfit have been more concerned with relegation than promotion since the Bermuda international joined them, thus making his numbers all the more impressive. Having shared 38 goals with McCormack at this level last season, the prospect of Wells and the Scotsman linking up at Villa Park has to be seen as an enticing one:
