  1. If we are playing Bent and Benteke up front next game I would give Ireland another chance. Hopefully with the ball sticking up front Ireland can make so dangerous forward runs. Of course this is all ifs can buts.
  2. That bench is stronger than anything we had under O'Neill.
  3. For what it's worth I wish the whole of the UK would boycott the Sun. Not because of this but because it's shit.
  4. Just got back from goals at star city and on the pitch next to us were Paul Merson and Dean Windass. Merse scored a cracking goal (I was tempted to shout unbelievable Jeff but not sure if he would find that funny)
  5. What? Look you need to re read what I said (and so does uncle_junior for that matter) If someone is ignorant enough to believe Liverpool fans were the cause of the accident then this report will not change their mind. I did my research a long time ago and knew the main culprits were the police and this new report holds no new evidence to me. Please feel free to get off that high horse.
  6. You don't know my views as I have not stated them so please don't try and second guess them.
  7. I don't think so. People already accepted that Liverpool fan's were not solely to blame for the accident. Your post is even more evidence of people not geting it. "Liverpool fans were not solely to blame for the accident"? Liverpool fans were not in any way to blame for the accident. I don't see how anyone can fail to understand that, other than not *wanting* to do so. I'm not getting into a debate here as anyone with differing opinion is lambasted. That's because your opinion is morally, factually and offensively wrong. I'm still not biting.

  9. I don't think it will. The things you just quoted I already knew. If a person really wants to know what happened, a little bit of research will answer any questions. This justice campaign will not change the mind of someone who has already mind up their mind.

  11. I would shed a few tears then use these tears as lube as I furiously masturbate at how amazing it would be.
  12. I love Gareth Barry! There I said it. Come back Barry, all is forgiven.
  13. Yes, but Eastenders doesn't pretend to be about a physical contest between rivals, and there's more to it than a series of arm locks and hurlings-to-the-ground. Only slightly more entertaining all the same. But as you said earlier, there is a script. There is usually a back story behind each wrestler and each feud. It's essentially a long running action film and up until around 2003 I watched it religiously.
  14. Why should he? He's good enough to play at a top level. He doesn't need to play football to pay bills or anything so if he hasn't got a suitable offer that he likes there's no need to go and play for an average team just because he can. 1) If he was good enough he'd be playing That's a stupid argument. He has quite clearly had offers from top level teams in England and Europe, he just decided not to accept them. He quite clearly hasn't, otherwise he'd have accepted one of them. Except he said on Twitter he had offers from Europe but wanted to stay in England. Like I said before, he doesn't need to play. He will only accept a deal that is right for him. Moving to Europe or Stoke isn't. Well he isn't going to come out and say he has been offered **** all is he?
  15. The team we're creating wouldn't get anywhere near the final. Can you honestly believe that Lambert is trying not trying to create a team that will win things like that. It's not a quick fix. It's not going to happen this season, It's likely it won't happen next season. The longer Lambert has to create his team the more likely it will be a winning team. I hope you're right, but make no mistake this is the worst Villa squad I've seen since 86/87. We haven't got time. If we get it wrong this season we'll be relegated and the shit will hit the fan. This isn't based on some grand plan from Lerner which will reap the benefits in the future, this is based purely on Lerner cutting costs. Lambert will have to be an unbelievable manager to turn a bunch of lower league and unknown foreign players into a PL team to contend with. As I said, I hope I'm wrong and you're right, but this whole situation stinks and this is a very worrying time for Villa. You mean the worst villa squad you have seen on paper surely? You haven't seen the team with all the new signings in yet.
  16. It's very dangerous! Yet very exciting! Surely that's what football should be about. Better than going for the usual suspects in terms of signings.
  17. Pete Colley‏@petecolley Paul Lambert denies any interest in Clinton Dempsey...........
  18. John Carew, Martin Laursen, Wilfred Bouma, Milan Baros (although turned out to be shit, was an exciting signing) Paul Merson, Dion Dublin etc.. And the 3 you mentioned are on a different planet to Stephens and Bowry. Carew I agree. Did you know much about Laursen before he joined? Apart from the fact he came from AC. Ditto with Bouma?
  19. I still have a feeling tomorrow we'll be very busy. I am excite!
  20. What about part-time taxi driver part time footballer stefan > He owns a taxi firm, not quite the same as being a driver. He's always our driver on a weekend into town.
