  1. 6 Defenders, 3 Strikers, and 1 Midfielder. I'm sure other managers are marvelling at that piece of tactical genious.
  2. It becomes clear, SGC is a Spurs troll! In answer to above question Herd was one of our best performers, purely because we spent most of the game without the ball mind. He still wasn't great but at least put the effort and a few challenges in. I can't really remember Bannan doing anything of note. An anonymous performance by his own standards, but seeing as we never had the ball and he was out wide that isn't really a shock.
  3. I think the fans who have actually gone to this game should have their money back, the least you could expect is some effort.
  4. I'm surprised there is anyone left on here, seems we're all leaving to play on Skryim!
  5. He may have been passed fit to play but I suspect he is concerned about aggrevating his hamstring. Hardly the worst player we have on the pitch. Hutton and Collins have been pointless.
  6. As Neville points out, and we all know, Collins really is shit. Clark should be playing every game. Mind you I am making a scapegoat of him, no shots on target and letting the other team have 69% of the possesion and you are asking for it.
  7. What's the point when they are no where to be seen in the box when we are defending set pieces?
  8. Camera view as someone said is pretty poor. I forgot Cuellar turns like a tank, that's a bit worrying.
  9. So possibly 3 across the back and 2 wing backs? I feel like I'm back in the nineties!!
  10. Whilst what he has done is unacceptable there are plenty of players around who have done comparable (and in fact worse) acts. If true he is clearly being punished, and rightly so, but I don't think we should write of his career on one incident though.
  11. I'd rather be a football club trying to "live within its means" than become yet another a Franchise FC... or an oil barron's chew toy. I think there is some pride in that myself.
  12. Pretty much my sentiments too. Didn't mind Back to Earth, it gave me a few chuckles ("I want more life, smegger!") and was a vast improvement on the abortion that was S9. I will remain ever hopeful that there's some life in the old dog yet. Thirded. There were some obvious issues that have been accentuated by the constant highlighting of them. I enjoyed Back to Earth far more than the majority of Series 8, which for me was the real abomination. It obviously won't be as good as the first 6 series, but I bet its still better than 90% of the rubbish (reality) tv we have on these days. I'm looking forward to it.
  13. World class... I suppose a career playing for the mighty Cheltenham Town beckons then? It's far too early to throw around superlatives at his age unless like Rooney and Fabregas he is pretty much on the first team sheet already. Don't get me wrong it's good to hear about a kid with promise, but it doesn't mean it will be fulfilled.
  14. I have to say Herd's tackling is worth the watching the game alone for at times, superb.
  15. Gabby about 10 levels above everyone else in our team, he didn't look particularly happy we'd scored mind :S
  16. Not sure how Given managed to get beat on his side of the goal, fantastic strike though. They've been the better side so far so we can't really complain.
  17. I think he is a bit like Hogg, only much better. I can certainly understand why he is being given a go. It will be interesting to see how it works out. He does have a worst first touch than our apparent "best playmaker" Delph, and that is my only real concern.
  18. The only thing that is depressing is some fans reactions. We're a side hoping to finish top half, we aren't going to play like United when playing most of the game with 10 men. We are also unlikely to go away to a title challenger and take anything from the game. I also think we had 3 points in the bag with 11 men on the pitch.
  19. I'm not sure today, nor the City game, are appropriate for jumping on AM's back to be honest. That coming from some one who has always considered his sides anti-football.
  20. 1-3 after a mistake I bet. Don't get me wrong I like Albrighton.
  21. As I said shouldn't be allowed to officiate our games, I find it hard to believe we get poor decisions when he is in charge a coincidence. Of course it could just be he is a shit ref, in which case I take it back. To be fair it was one of his cronies that made the call this time.
  22. We were by far the better side before the sending off, WBA hadn't troubled us all game. That decision has completely changed the game.
  23. Game over. We were ok at defending set pieces until Herd was sent off...
