    Cuellar caught ball watching there in my opinion. We don't deserve to be losing though. Has Warnock now injured two of their players?

    Really need to get behind the team during the game, booing Warnock is disgraceful. I respect that people have paid a lot of money to go and have a right to voice opinion but we really are creating out own demise. I can't imagine many football players who would want to play for a fan base that jumps on their every mistake in home games.

    It would be nice if the crowd got behind us from the off tonight. I'm not into the habit of making excuses for McLeish or the players but I don't think it's a coincidence we have been better away from home recently. The atmosphere has either been flat or toxic over the last few games, perhaps understandble given the dross served up, but I don't think it is helping.

    I'm surprised I thought he was doing a good job there. Let's hope it doesn't scupper a longer term loan deal.

    Well it's fairly clear to me that Weimann is championship standard, could have killed this game off with a half decent pass or finish.

    You know you're right. Everton should be ashamed of themselves, they should be at least a few up by now! :winkold: I'd say at least we can't get any worse, but this level of performance has been incredibly consistent.

    The best supporters are at the match. The worst supporters are on the internet posting lots of hilariously sarcastic posts on an internet forum. Funny, isn't it, that a post about how stupid it is to compete as 'best supporter' leads to people legitimately trying to prove that other people are inferior supporters. Indeed. It appears some are here purely to point score rather than comment on the match.

    yup. The McLeish hatefest is morphing into a distasteful spectacle of Villa fans almost wishing defeat and misery for the sake of proving themselves right about the manager. I'm not happy about the quality of play myself, but for heaven's sake get behind the team or go support someone else. strewth. 100% agree, the majority of the fans on here today are an embarrassment to the club Perhaps the two of you could band together and get a 'positive forum' where nothing negative is ever said? I'm sure constant discussion of how great Villa and how well we are playing won't get tiresome at all.

    I can't even pick a MOTM. McLeish seemed to get everything wrong today, that is why we lost, not the mistakes. Some rather poor performances but it may have been tiredness.

    Agreed actually. Outside the box he offers nothing, Gabby up front at least gives the opposition to think about. Ireland had a few moans in the first half about Bent's lack of movement too. I don't think its a coincedence our form improved with Albrighton in the side either.

    The atmosphere at the stadium is toxic at times isn't it. Can't be helping, no wonder we are so poor at home. For the record I'm not making excuses for some shocking performances but mistake aside we haven't been too bad today, the players are clearly trying. I think the formation is wrong though.

    Gabby on the right wing is a terrible decision. I could at least understand on the left given he's mainly been effective running that channel this season, but he doesn't offer anything out there.

    The ball was nearer to the goal than the player (Bent) at the time it was passed. Offside rule is quite clear, surprised you seem unable to comprehend it. MOTD was embarrasing, showing Mata's cross that was headed away but missing Albrighton's half volley and Gabby's header. I'm not a fan but I have to give it to Mcleish that's 3 good performances on the trot. Though Chelsea were there for the taking and we played it beautifully.

    I can't believe he has booked Cuellar. The freekick was a bad enough decision.

    Probably because this particular commentator knows more about football than you? He's playing well. It's just a shame he has never been a particularly great finisher. Even so that one-on-one was especially awful, even I would have saved that.

    Who ever is impersonating Ireland should be told that they aren't very convincing, this is a superb performance.

    "Again"? One mistake, hardly repetitive. He's played well so far apart from that, and has been good this season. Ireland playing surprisingly well.
