  1. VP looking especially beautiful in the sun today, random thought. Wish I was there! Come on lads, need a win today.
  2. Woke up with absolutely horrendous pain in my mouth so hoping for a good result to take my mind off it. We absolutely need the three points today UTV.
  3. Will need to be on top form today but I trust the boys to deliver. Always feel confident with this squad which is a great feeling.
  4. Showed great mentality the other night. Exactly the kind of thing we want to see. Knows what it means to wear that shirt.
  5. Got to win this one but I think Bournemouth are a good side this year. I don't think we played at 100% the other night so you'd think we're going to see a lot of that energy that seemed to be missing come out tomorrow.
  6. If our 150th anniversary tops for next season are any good, I imagine I'll have a hand in increasing our revenue LOL.
  7. Still weird to think we've gone from the position we were in 5/6 years ago to having a player who's easily the best in the world in his position.
  8. Obviously not good to be missing him as I said but I'm sure Olsen and the rest of the team will step up and try their absolute hardest. Everyone knows what it means and I'm very keen to see how Emi performs in the second leg now.
  9. Our first semi final in Europe since 1982. Impossible for me not to be even more excited now. No matter the outcome we can all be proud. A season to remember forever. Been a pleasure to experience the last few months of it on this forum with all of you. UTFV!
  10. Very exciting to think that our wildest dreams don't seem entirely unrealistic under Emery. As you said, let the man keep the control he has, let him make his signings and who knows where we'll end up? I think we will definitely try and challenge for a domestic cup next season, 100%. Who knows where we could be in 3 - 5 seasons? We're a huge club and we definitely have the right foundations to challenge the Man City machine.
  11. Glad someone has finally said it. Think they've realised it's gone stale somewhere along the way because apparently they'll have a whole new leadership group coming in. I'd love to think we could be competing with City in a few years, Emery is already giving Pep nightmares.
  12. Salah is a once in a generation player for Liverpool, I don't think they'll replace the man himself, and I agree it'll be very hard to replace what he's been able to do as a player.
  13. Haven't found a good series to watch in a long while! Used to love having a decently long show to sink my teeth into.
  14. This man is the best goalkeeper in the world. And he plays for Aston Villa Football Club. Feels very right.
  15. Definitely wasn't an easy match to watch for the heart rate, but wow, that was just how it is to be a Villa supporter in a nutshell. My club is in a European semi final in my lifetime. Not on Fifa, not on Football Manager, in real life. I don't know how to describe how happy that makes me, all I know is that I need to treasure this feeling. Enjoy it everyone, supporting the greatest football club in the world is a wonderful feeling. UTV!
  16. Went past our beautiful home on my coach journey- Mrs said my face lit up. Made me so happy when I realised we'd be going past. No matter what happens re: stadium, Villa Park is a majestic stadium.
  17. Was up at half 4 so I could be on my travels. The match is all I'll be thinking about all day. Very excited but very nervous. This is undoubtedly the biggest match we have ever played in (so far) my whole life.
  18. Big summer ahead. Unai and Monchi... Privilege to have them both on board.
  19. No matter what happens- fantastic season. Ready to get fully behind the boys for this one UTV.
  20. Travelling down to see family on matchday, just hope I can get there in time to hog the telly LOL!
  21. I've been thinking the same. Is it wrong to think that, if we let him bring in the players he wants, we could be winning a few trophies over the next few years? He makes all of us dream and then he makes those dreams a reality. Many people are now realising how big this club is, we taught the treble winners a lesson and probably killed Arsenal's title hopes. Aston Villa are one of the most decorated English clubs and I am so glad we are finally acting like it.
  22. Very nice that our league performance has improved dramatically at the same time as this. Things like overseas shirt sales are bound to go up a lot if we can manage to keep qualifying for Europe and start regularly competing for trophies.
  23. I moved to Worcestershire, heading into the Black Country this summer though as our current place was only temporary. Hoping to regularly attend games next season.
